Can any man "deny" his own earthly father, even though he may dislike him greatly? No. Neither can a earthly father "deny" his own son, even though he may dislike him too. I can "deny" any father in this world that is not my real father, and they will deny me also.
If I become "unfaithful" or "faithless" to my true Father, my true father remains faithful to me, for he can not deny his own son in whom he lives.
2Ti 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
2Ti 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
