Question: John ch. 9 vs.1-7

  1. Question: John ch. 9 vs.1-7

1As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"

3"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

4As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
6Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. 7"Go," he told him, "wash in the Pool of Siloam" (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

Are we in the night Jesus is speaking of, where no one can be healed? I know 1 person healed by a miracle.
  2. Sorry Tyler, Are you asking are we a generation that has not chance for salvation?
  3. Tyler1,
I belive in the "sermon on the mount" Jesus states that we are the light of the world and that we need to let our light shine not only to draw others to christ but also to expose the work of satan. As for your healing question YES GOD is still healing today. I was in a wrestling accident where my neck was broken at c5-c6 Complete resulting in myself becoming a Quadrapleguic with no chance of recovery. 6months later a man came in my hospital room annointed my neck and head with oil and prayed "In jesus name be made hole." He turned left the room and moments later my arms and legs began to move. I had asked my nurse who that man was who had just left she looked at me puzzled and said no one had come in or out all day the last visitor I had was my parents the night befor. That was 27 years ago and today I am 85 to 90% recovered.
  4. .. I would contend that we are not but that that time is about to be upon us. I have, this year, seen people, miraculously healed. The doctors absolutely confirmed the diagnosis by multiple testing and MRIs. Yet, when the assembly gathers around them, lays hands on them and prays, the next test shows they were never ill. The members of the church did not heal them but because the afflicted person was faithful to believe and because our Church Family was faithful to pray and believe and because it was within the Will of God, He heals them and just astounds the medical community.
.. And since these type of miracle healings are occurring around the world, it is not that time, yet. I do believe it is the season that will end the Church Era and that will be the time of Spiritual darkness.
  5. WOW! You are blessed.
I coached wrestling for years and am still involved in the sport, I'm very active, lift weights, martial arts, and I can still wrestle 5 days a week (way slower, but experience makes up for the speed change) I highly doubt at the age you broke your kneck I'm going to still be on the mat, LOL, I feel broken enough at 32.

I'm very happy you were healed, thanks for sharing.
I'm going to a bone surgeon on Monday to get my right hip checked for possible total replacement thanks to a MA tourney this year. I would like to be healed.
