  1. Psalms written when?

    How far before Christ life on earth was Psalms written?

    Because I haven't read it in a long time and Ch. 1-2 talk about the son and his annointed one. this Jesus?

    Unless I'm way off base, let me know :) .
  2. Tyler,

    My Bible says the psalms were written over a long period in Israelite history , ranging form the time of Moses through the end of the Babylonian captivity.

    That right Tyler . In Chapter 2 :7.... The writer of Hebrews quotes this verse to show how far superior Jesus is to the angels ( Heb. 1:5)

    We have a Saviour who is fully one of us , even as He is fully God.

    And that is why we can trust Him fully.

    For the director of music. To the tune of "The Death of the Son." A psalm of David.

    1 I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart.
    I will tell all the miracles you have done.
    2 I will be happy because of you;
    God Most High, I will sing praises to your name.
  4. So this is prophesy about Jesus. I feel like combing through the Old Testament for prophesy about Jesus.
  5. Thanks Ramsey, I'm going to check it out today when I get a chance.
