Poem#96 Judgment Of Thinking
Revelation 20, 21
How many times did Jesus tell us to change the way we think?
Unfortunately so many heard the kingdom is near & to repent
Not understanding what the word repent really means
Jesus was calling us to change the way we think about Him
Think about God being one & the same as on the first day
When He said let us make Mankind in our Image
God knew giving Moses the Ten Commandments we wouldn’t keep
God knew of the day He would be born to walk among us to die for us
Through the Son as Jesus Christ He gave us every chance to change
Jesus wants us to change the way we think about needing Him
That all these bloody sacrifices for tradition wasn’t going to save
How many times did he say it took a Perfect Lamb & it was Him
Now we’re nearing the great white throne before God the Judge
Before Him three books, two of judgements and the book of life
Looking down at the people that changed the way they thought
How many Pharisees will God find failing to see the need for Jesus?
Will Nicodemus be the only one to walk in the dark to find the Light?
How few Will humbly look at themselves & think the need of Christ
The Kingdom of God is at hand time to change the way we think
We can’t stop sinning on our own, we can’t bring ourselves to life
Only through seeing our Death in Christ will we see life in Christ
Great white throne of judgment of the way we think about Jesus
Will we have changed the way we think & invited Jesus in our heart
Will God the Judge find His Son inside the Kingdom of our Heart?
