Poem#85 Christ Like Life
2nd Timothy 2
Living the Christ like Life isn’t supposed to be easy
Definitely isn’t going to be flashy to look at Trophies
Will have to endure the elements of life thrown at us
Working hard to reap what we sow inwards to produce outwards
Like the Farmer that doesn’t seek the glory of his Crop but rejoices
Not with pride, but with Gratefulness of the Harvest
Living the Christ like Life isn’t meant to be glamorous
Yes we’re to live life more abundantly to His fullest Grace
Through His Holy Spirit to guide us through His everything
Unfortunately sometimes that means not being thanked
Even while the world sorts through our fruit without a thought
Like the Farmer that looks on knowing the Field it came from
Be encouraged to keep living the Christ like Life we’re called
Keep seeking the Grace that is Jesus who Gives us the Strength
His Word keeps us going through the Power of His Cross
Might not be easy living the way we’re Called to Live for Him
When we’re living a life with the only name Recognized is Jesus
We’re being the honorable Vessel we’re meant to Be
