Poem#158 The Grizzly and Jesus

James 3, Isaiah 55:8-10, Ezekiel 37, Ephesians 2

Be sure to make Words short & Sweet because rest assured will eat them

As we’re more then likely to tame a wild Grizzly before taming The Tongue

As we seldom ask for Wisdom before we think let alone Speak our Mind

Before committing partiality sin by Listening to pride of I’d never say that

When God says all come short it means even King Solomon’s Wisdom fell

Sooner or Later we’re All going to trip over Our own Tongue of Words

Will run into run into a Grizzly Bear in the wild before taming the tongue

Like speaking to the Bear as if talking to the neighbor who offended us

Will different Words come to mind before asking if their Christian

By showing both Grace and Mercy as Jesus showed us on the Cross

No matter the Situation faced Man or Beast All are made by God Alone

We all Need His Grace we all just want to be Loved in Words & in Spirit

Like Taming a Grizzly, like putting out a wild fire both seem impossible

Like raising an army of dry bones looked impossible to the Prophet

Until the Holy Spirit spoke Words of Life putting flesh on bones

Nothing is impossible with Jesus who tames the wind & the sea

With Words He raises the Dead, calms the storm inside our Heart

Jesus doesn’t take back Words He plants them to hold Our Tongue

Jesus takes the Grizzly, the wildness coming out of our wilderness

We were found dead in Spirit until Jesus raised us up with His Grace

Through Praise and giving Jesus the Glory we Surrender to Him

Still the Grizzly we thought was tame inside learks to be wild

Jesus said to take up the Cross daily to keep the old self down

Surrender the Tongue to the Holy Spirit Daily to eat sweet Words
