Poem#139 Taste of Ash Taste Of Life

Poem#139 Taste of Ash Taste Of Life

Matthew 7, Ephesians 2, Genesis 4

Most of us don’t remember what it was like with dirt on our face

Let alone the taste of ash inside our mouth as we never knew Him

Never took the hand of Christ which would have Saved us

Good Works doesn’t take the place of a shovel, doesn’t raise us up

We’re still buried six feet under what’s impossible for mankind alone

We’re still stuck in coffins living out of false realitys made of fools gold

The only Way to the Father is Christ, the only Way to life & Truth is Christ

We’re breathing through a straw as we’re trying to save a dying planet

When we should be focused on the blood crying out including our own

The blood of Able cried out to God after Cain killed Able & Blood is life

God holds All life Sacred & Our blood like any other blood cries out to Him

Because we’re dying, their dying until we come to the Cross of Jesus

Wake up start Calling the only name which will be Saved with our Blood

When we’ve given over to Jesus our Death of Sin we’re given His Hand

That Raises us out of the Dust we’re found in, taste of life replacing ash

Now go share the taste of the Lord which is the Good News of Jesus

Having the taste of a new Creation having been dead brought to Life

Through the Love that made us Disciples to make Disciples by His Love
