Poem#131 Simple, Never Easy
Luke 9, Hebrews 12
Telling all what Jesus has done in our life is Creating Disciples
Nothing complicated about telling the good news of Jesus Christ
This is all Jesus asks of us, to tell our story of who Jesus is to us
People will accept our story for who God is as Jesus or they won’t
So we move on, not in argument over who needs repentance most
As we’re all Sinners in need of a Savior & all Jesus asks is say Jesus
Jesus sees us & knows how easily Pride can ruin even the mighty Kings
One moment of arrogance brings us down like a stone to Goliath’s head
So don’t take for granted simple instructions, don’t overthink Christ
Even when we see impossible numbers in the amount of people to feed
Like the Widow of two pennies, the boy with fish & chips God multiples
God uses all that we have & multiples as Jesus is the Bread of life
When we take the time to pray like Jesus remember moment of Elijah
We’re not praying alone those that have gone before us pray with us
Because we’re praying to the Son of God like the Halls of Faith have
Nobody is great, we’re ordinary people serving an almighty God
Who came as the Messiah the Son of God to be Our Lamb slained
Nothing we could do to save ourselves, only to Simply Believe Jesus
Don’t be afraid to suffer for what we Believe that Jesus is the Gospel
Don’t have to be ashamed in asking for help of the Holy Spirit to suffer
Nothing is Easy after we Believe, but focusing on Jesus makes it easier
