Poem#115 Like A Phoenix

Poem#115 Like A Phoenix

John 11:25-26, Luke 12, Romans 1:20, Matthew 5, Revelation

Don’t let the world count us out not when Believing Jesus Christ

Even as the world hates Him, don’t let suffering bring doubt in

Instead see suffering for Christ through eyes of joy

Yes those closest to us will bring us down to the world’s level

Just because we’re blood related doesn’t mean peace in family

As Christ came to also divide Truth from fiction

The world doesn’t understand we’ve been dead graves been dug

It wasn’t until Jesus came along to fulfill the scripture foretold since

The beginning of time our resurrection was being scripted

Every culture has a myth has a legend that has a hint of Truth

The invisible attributes of God will be seen even before His Word

Comes knocking at the door of hearts baring Good News

Long ago we were declared dead being born into a dying world

With a devil for a father of lies that twists the Word that saves us

In order to keep us buried beneath the ashes of his fate

Unlike the Phoenix the resurrection of Jesus Christ is not a myth

Therefore those that Believe Jesus is the Christ will be risen a new

Death has been defeated, Sins been Forgiven & we’re Reaching

The pulse can be felt in our wrists as our hand lifts for that of Christ

Which means we’re being risen from the ashes that was to be our dust

Now a new fire has been lit inside our Soul to light up a dying World
