Poem#112 Obedience To Last Breath

Poem#112 Obedience To Last Breath

Philippians 1:29, Romans 5:3, 1 Peter, 2 Corinthians 1

Suffering for the Cross that Jesus died to fulfill the Law

That we couldn’t & because of that religious leaders Hated

Because they Hated Jesus we’re called to Suffer for Jesus

It’s unfortunate that people will deny Christ even after Miracles

As Jesus said to the Disciples Truth will divide Mother & daughter

Father against Son, Believers against non Believers

The World doesn’t see Suffering as Jesus sees Suffering

Sometimes Suffering comes in the form of pain, other times

Comes of Separation as Sin does from the Father in Heaven

For a time on the Cross Jesus felt total Separation from being God

As He took the bitter Drink from the Sponge on the tip of the Spear

Father” He cried why have you forsaken Me” feeling full weight of Sin

Just as Jesus was Obedient in the final Details up to His Death’s Breath

We too must be Obedient to the Last Breathe even in Suffering the Details

Even though it’s hard to watch those We Love Suffer in Bed for Christ

So why suffer for Jesus? Because the World doesn’t understand

The Suffering for the Devil the cost of a little pleasure from Sinning

Condemnation from Eternal Separation is without the Holy Spirit

Being Obedient to the Last Breath Suffering for Jesus in Comfort

Through the Power of the Holy Spirit who Gives Comfort from Heaven

The Power that held back venom in the Bite of Paul, holds back Fear

Nothing can Separate us from the Love of Jesus Christ not even Death

When we’re Suffering in Obedience to Last Breath out of Love for Jesus

We’re Giving Jesus One Last Breath to Save One More Condemned Soul
