Poem#101 No Quick Fix, only Jesus

Poem#101 No Quick Fix, only Jesus

1st John 2:15-17, 1st John 5, John 16

The world tells us it’s okay to given into pleasures of sin

That we can overcome the consequences through pills

Getting us to ignore the Truth that the world hates

The desires in our already evil hearts fueled by lusts of the flesh

Fed through the temptations instead of escaping we give into pride

Telling satan he’s right buying the lies of being owed by the world

Unfortunately we’re left feeling owned by the world instead like slaves

Becoming slaves to sins that the world wants us to get by in a quick fix

Wake up theirs no quick fix proof by the countless Sacrifices of Tradition

The World says fighting to get what we want is key to victory

When God says Victory is ours if only we come to Surrender

When we Believe in the Death of God’s Son covered our Sins

The World hates Jesus because the World doesn’t want to give up

The World doesn’t want to give up it’s sacrifices to the prince of darkness

The World feeds off the father of lies so feeds those that listen lies

Good News has always been Jesus as the Lamb the power of the Cross

The Sin of One Mankind has been forgiven by the Perfect Lamb of God

When Jesus stood before the Father as Advocate to take domain back

Jesus has always been the Way, Truth and the Life only way to God

As He and the Father are One and the same as the Only Door to Heaven

Narrow is the Road that can’t be taken through shortcuts, only by Grace

Nothing can stop us from running to Jesus Christ in complete Surrender

We will find freedom from the World, Jesus has always been our escape

When Jesus overcame the World on the Cross He Rescued us from Death

Hello Walker;

What you share in Poem#101 No Quick Fix, only Jesus reminds me of what my wife and I read in Isaiah 43:8, 8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. - KJV

God knows this and tells His servant that there's nothing wrong with their eyes and ears. The people don't want to expose their conviction so instead they hide it deep within their pride, hardened hearts and secret sin.

At the end of your poem you wrote if we can let go in complete Surrender;

Nothing can stop us from running to Jesus Christ in complete Surrender

We will find freedom from the World, Jesus has always been our escape

When Jesus overcame the World on the Cross He Rescued us from Death

God bless you, Kyle, and thank you for sharing.
