our sins are forgiven
wuld this mean upto the point of repentance, for your life? or for eternity.?
:smiley40: good question smellycat
In the book of Colossians were told
"In whom we have redemption through his blood even the forgiveness of sins ,who is the image of the invisible God the firstborn of every creature for by him were all things created by him and for him
with out repentance I would think there could be no forgiveness of sins wouldn't you ?
for life or for eternity
well :smiley40: I assume that sins forgiven for eternity considering this life and the span of it .
'what in your opinion produces genuine repentance ?
When we turn to Christ He cleanses us from all we have ever done in our life, the slate is clean.
If we sin after we become Christians , John tells us this:
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
:smiley90: awesome GOOD NEWS ,AMEN GODSPEAKS 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
