  1. New CowGirl Here and Around

    To make a very long story short....

    This past year.... has been.... one of the most life changing, challenging, exciting, experimental, confusing, scary, imaginable experiences that I have had in my life!!

    This year I'm trying to do my own thing and go on my own path the way that God had designed it to be in the first place and trying to get away from all my friends' life's drama's.

    I am entering my second year of college in the fall. I had been struggling on what I'd like to do, for right now my status is undecided. But, as I am fully struggling on which college to attend to next, all I know is that I'm trying to get to learning American Sign Language and about Equine horses studies and hopefully having hands on experience with that.

    Other than what I'd like to be or want to do in the near future, it's also hard sometimes seeing couples being together or being all over each other when I have no one for my love life. I pray for/about it the way I think I should be praying for it. I keep possibly thinking that God will have me meet my guy during which ever time period that is going on in my life, but I have to remember that it's His timing and NOT mine!

    And besides all that, before I even get to meet him, I still needs lots and lots and lots and lots of SERIOUS time with God and in his presence and in his word and everything about Him!!! There's still so much for me to learn. So, for now its - going to college for things and learning more and more about my God.

    A little about me:
    I'm fun. Caring. (probably why its so hard for me to let go of the bad things in my friends lives) Sensitive. I'd still like to learn how to swim. I have asthma. You better not be in a hurry because i can take forever to get ready, lol.
    I LOVE GOD! I LOVE MY HOME CHURCH! I HAD APPARENTLY MISSED ANOTHER ONE OF THE BEST SERVICES BECAUSE I WAS OUT OF STATE... GOD IS SO GOOD. HE HAD JUST PROVIDED ME WITH A JOB AFTER ME TRYING HARD FOR SOOO LONG!!

    LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR MIND, ALL YOUR SOUL AND ALL YOUR STRENGTH & ALL YOUR HEART - and that was just from a song. haha...

    p.s. xspinningisfun, do you remember me from the other forum and facebook? :) haha!!

  5. Thank u all : )

  6. Hehe, yes, I remember you ;] ;] ;]
    Anyways, about your whole introductory - hold fast to Jesus. If you delight in Him, he will give you the desires of your heart. Don't worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will bring it's own worries. Just take a day at a time. Fall deeper in love with Jesus. And once you do, you WILL take delight in Him. I thought I took delight in Him in the past, but never did. So while I made an EFFORT to fall in love with Jesus, and when I finally did, I did take delight in Him and it was the best decision of my life.

    I've been feeling lonely too, lately. But God always feeds me His love and His comfort <3 The loneliness doesn't overwhelm me like it used to. But God is good and always faithful <3

  7. Oh, and one more thing, I'm doing ASL as well :]

  8. Hello there... Welcome to the CFS site... :)

  9. Thank You! :)

    Oh, that's so cool~ So are you taking a class with it and paying for it, or just doing your own ASL??

  10. Well, I've known "sign language" for my whole life. For college, I took an ASL class. Which is very different from just regular sign language. I've taken ASL 1 & 2 :] and God told me at one point that He'll be using my hands for His glory. Sign language, specifically.

  11. Wow, congratulations. God is indeed so good :)

    Welcome to CFS!

  12. ♥ ~ LIKE, WOWW!!! *sigh* Wait, so you're already done with college?! How old are you, lol. {(YOU DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER THAT)}
    I feel so confused, well, I guess almost. (Well I guess now that i think of it, i already mentioned what im trying to go for in college..) but all i know is that it'll be something to do with horses and ASL, problem is, if I have to go to one college to learn about one thing first, and then go to another to learn the other thing, I'm not sure which to do first. Same thing goes with that there may be a college that does both, but I can't really find one closer to my home state that I like the website to, & + what specific programs about the subject it would offer...

    This one lady lead me to this one college on the internet and I really like its website and pics, and it's in my state, I'd be going for equine studies, BUT THEN...... my family and I went on a weekend get a way for my aunt's and new uncle's wedding reception and there at a pool, nevertheless, I met a deaf girl, oh how I wanted to know more signs just then so we could chat more easily!!....

    And now here I see you about asl, also.

    oh what to do, What To Do. . . . .

    this coming fall however, I am taking an english class with a computer class that will help with it, but after that, I'm not sure what im supposed to go for???

    My youth leader was right::
    ".....You are at such an important crossroads in your life being in college and on the edge of adulthood. There are so many things that are going to be bombarding you from every direction in the next few years and it will be easy to get off track if you aren't super careful. It isn't just you...it's all of us really...but you just happen to be at one of the hardest and yet most exciting times in life. You should be loving it, not swallowed up in alot of drama that eats up so much of your joy...... "

    I do remember someone saying that I'll be dealing with horses; handicapped ppl and i'll be able to help them bc i can sign...

    If anything else - I hope I will know which AND where the college to really go to. I guess that would also help me to find my identity in this world and among other things that I still have my life to be journeyed about..
    *(*SIIIIIGGGGGGHH*)*

  13. Don't worry about it! Like, honestly. Worry will get you NOWHERE. It will just cause stress in your life. Hasn't God taken care of you before? He will show you his way for you in the fuuuture.

    Anyways, no, I'm not done with college. And I'm 21. I still need to take ASL 3 and 4. Special education right now is my major, and ASL is my minor.

    Anywho, just don't worry. God will make His will for your life clear at one point. Just keep pressing into Him and keep relying and trusting in Him!
