  1. Named Storm: 'Laura'

SUB-Tropical Storm Laura formed in the Mid Atlantic from a pressure wave of sub-tropical nature. It does not have intense tropical characteristics and it will only be a slight hazard to shipping traffic in the North Atlantic. The official tracking agency, The National Hurricane Center in Miami, has named this storm even though it's origin was not tropical. There was no explaination from the NHC regarding this decision, so we will just say that it will not be affecting any land mass for several days and by the time it reaches western Europe, it will just be a heavy rain maker with some gusty winds.

This will be our only post regarding this storm.
