A hundred years later the Japanese repaid the visit to a harbor of our own.

Mexico stated that ANYONE could inhabit the region that would later become Texas. Use the land for grazing and even settle. The only rule was to become Catholic. Texas cattlemen wanted the land, seized it, when Mexico came to take back their lawful land, the Texans whined to DC and then the Mexican American war began.

Obviously no one now remembers the Maine. Spanish American war.

We invaded the Soviet Union shortly after the red revolution to support the White Cossacks, with American troops under General Pershing being lodged in Archangel as support and training forces for the Pro-Czarist forces. Again we illegally invaded a nation.

Very OLD examples. I was referring to todays enemies. DO you really think that something in 1850 is goping to effect someones actions today?

How long have YOU hated the United States of America?

When the earthquake devestated Hatie, who was the 1st country there?
When the tsunamia hit the far east killing 250,000, who was the 1st country there?

We are talking about the fact that the US loves to stir the pot and sometimes those stirrings cause trouble to them down the road.

And they still do it. Even today.
