Middle East

There would not be an ISIS if the US had not been making a mess of Iraq and Saudi Arabia, Kuqait, and Qatar were not funding it.

The US always makes its own enemies.

Japan
Mexico
Spain
Soviet Union
Haiti
Nicaragua
Chile
Vietnam
Panama
Iraq
Iran

On and on and on.

Every conflict except for the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 has been an unjustified war due to US meddling.

How did we make enemies with the first 3 on your list, and in what ways was it unjustified?

Japan, 1850's the idea of gunboat diplomacy was coined when Commodore Perry sailed into Tokyo Harbor and forcefully opened up trade.
A hundred years later the Japanese repaid the visit to a harbor of our own.

Mexico stated that ANYONE could inhabit the region that would later become Texas. Use the land for grazing and even settle. The only rule was to become Catholic. Texas cattlemen wanted the land, seized it, when Mexico came to take back their lawful land, the Texans whined to DC and then the Mexican American war began.

Obviously no one now remembers the Maine. Spanish American war.

Yes the US has a habit of making enemies. I blame arrogance and Mammon.

Your comments still show your ignorance and arrogance.

Japan................Bombed Pearl Harbor and killed 28oo Americans.
Mexico..............In 1834, General Antonio López de Santa Anna became the centralist dictator of Mexico, abandoning the federal system. and
annexed the Texas territory.
Spain................On February 15, the Maine exploded in the harbor and sank with a loss of 260 men.
Soviet Union....Anti-God dictatorship intent on world domination through murder, war and death.
Haiti.................The president of Hatie was killing his own people even babies and practiced witchcraft and murder.
Nicaragua.........Was being used as a military ally of the Soviet Union for the spread of Communism.
Chile.................Have no idea what you are referring to.
Vietnam............A conflict to stop the spread of communism and murder and war.
Panama............A haven for drug cartels and distribution of drugs by Noriaga.
Iraq...................Muslim center of terrorism training and a man who killed thousands of his own people.
Iran...................Kidnapped 487 Americans and help them hostage.

Context always works best. American IMO does not go out looking to make enemies BUT when trouble comes to us, we tack care of business and do what is the right thing to do.

Better not discuss the Catholic side of this or you can be banned.

I say that you are wrong. IMO when approached react accordingly.

I am shocked that you would equate "free trade" with 28oo murdered.

Japan................Bombed Pearl Harbor and killed 28oo Americans.
After the US assialed them in the 1850's do you think they would forget?

Mexico..............In 1834, General Antonio López de Santa Anna became the centralist dictator of Mexico, abandoning the federal system. and annexed the Texas territory.
Annexed? They OWNED it. It was part of Mexico. Cattlemen used it, settled it and did not want to obey the laws of Mexico. Illegal seizure. Mexico had every right to take back the land.

Spain................On February 15, the Maine exploded in the harbor and sank with a loss of 260 men.

Which the Spanish never attacked the Maine. It was used to facilitate the war.

Soviet Union....Anti-God dictatorship intent on world domination through murder, war and death..
We invaded the Soviet Union shortly after the red revolution to support the White Cossacks, with American troops under General Pershing being lodged in Archangel as support and training forces for the Pro-Czarist forces. Again we illegally invaded a nation.

Haiti.................The president of Hatie was killing his own people even babies and practiced witchcraft and murder.
Of which the US helped install Baby Doc in as ruler to create a Banana Republic.
Nicaragua.........Was being used as a military ally of the Soviet Union for the spread of Communism.
Somoza was another Banana Republic despot installed by the US.

Chile.................Have no idea what you are referring to.
Pinochet was a despot installed by the US. Caused no end of issues in the region.
Vietnam............A conflict to stop the spread of communism and murder and war.
After WWI Ho Chi Minh tried to get independence for Vietnam from the French. No one would help, including then bigoted President Wilson. During WWII forces that Minh had were assisting against Japanese aggression along side US and British forces, just as Tse Tung was in China.
After the war again the US and other UN nations blocked any attempt to independence.

Panama............A haven for drug cartels and distribution of drugs by Noriaga.
Noriega was another Banana Republic despot installed by the US.
Iraq...................Muslim center of terrorism training and a man who killed thousands of his own people.
Hussein was a despot that the US and Britain helped to power. To wage war against Iran after their revolution.
Iran...................Kidnapped 487 Americans and help them hostage.
In the 1950's the Iranians held an election and created a republic that then wanted to keep their oil for Iranian people not the British.
The brits did not like it, moaned to Eisenhower for help and both nations supported a coup of that regime to install the Shah.

Your grasp of world history is distorted by a American-Centric set of red, white and blue lenses.

Very OLD examples. I was referring to todays enemies. DO you really think that something in 1850 is goping to effect someones actions today?

How long have YOU hated the United States of America?

When the earthquake devestated Hatie, who was the 1st country there?
When the tsunamia hit the far east killing 250,000, who was the 1st country there?
When the earthquake hit Chilie, who was the 1st coutry there?

I can go on and on but today we can see that the USA befriends those in need who will allow the help.

I thought you were talking about current enemies.

We are talking about the fact that the US loves to stir the pot and sometimes those stirrings cause trouble to them down the road.

Sow, reap.

The US sows strife and reaps sorrow.

And they still do it. Even today.

While they remain in Saudi Arabia, they sow strife.
