  1. Love

    did this while I was looking for love,rejected by a guy. =(
    when i first knew christ.

    In this world today,
    the meaning of love doesn't exist,
    so maybe the word shouldn't either.
    What is love?
    Everyone can talk about love,
    but few truly mean it.
    Anyone can boast about loving,
    but how many can prove it?
    Words can't express love,
    it's your time and actions that matter.
    Money can't buy love,
    it is something many can profess,but few can fulfil.
    Love is not a word for one to swear by,
    it is understood only by those who freely give.
    It does not doubt,it trusts.
    It does not expect,it is unconditional.
    That's love.
    If it does not have the abovementioned qualities,
    is it true love,or mere possession?
    Love; is to make your loved ones happy.
    It is a sacrifice.
    Love is to give without expecting to receive,
    Love does not envy,love does not hurt.
    Love.Is not to be taken for granted.
  2. :cool:
    1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
    1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
    1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
    1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
  3. AH :D

    charity = love?:confused:
  4. hees. I wonder when I'll find some charity in my life :X
  5. Philippians 2:15

    In that way, you can prove yourselves to be without blame. You are God's children and no one can talk against you, even in a sin-loving and sin-sick world. You are to shine as lights among the sinful people of this world.
  6. Are you saying no-one loves you:confused:
  7. maybe just not in the way 'love' should be like.
  8. I understand and you may be right. Mankind seems to love conditionally but God loves un-conditionally.

    Christ taught us to love in our service to others.

    The measure of LOVE is to Love without measure.
  9. Hey guys, can't you see she want's a boyfriend?:blink:
  10. Boyfriends are no good. :D

    No greater love has a man, than has He who lay down His life for His friends.

    It was while we were yet sinners that He died for us.

    Knowing that He is from God, has all power, will return to God, and is eternal, sovereign, royalty, the Son of God - He still got down and washed the feet of the ones who He knew would soon abandon Him. Still considered equality to God not something to be grasped, but simply loved unconditionally. Simply thought of others.

    If we want to love, we have to be like Jesus. If we want to be like Jesus, we have to saturate in the presence of His Holy Spirit. It's the only thing to do, it's all that will satisfy you and give you life and life more abundantly. To live is Christ.

    His will is what we want, we just don't know it.
  11. You guys talk in riddles..why not tell it in layman terms??:confused:
  12. Riddles of truth are the language that is lived before it is understood.

    Hope that makes sense. ;)
  13. "Riddles of truth are the language that is lived before it is understood,"

  14. wrong. :)
    I want real friends. Boyfriends are easy to get,not so real friends.

    you won't see the real meaning of a situation before you stand back and take another viewpoint of it,and in most cases,we only reflect after it's over.

    At least that's what I think:eek::p
  15. LOOOOOOOOOOL Mark haha :D and tavy haha riddles :D

    did not Jesus talk in parables?
    it is like a man who walks on the sea with no faith. he drowns and perishes and the sea eats and swallows his bones and the fish lay eggs on his remnants.
    but a man who is charitable can walk on the sea and its waves are like raging lions but the man never falls for his faith makes him stand tall and strong.
    that's a lesson for all of you by me

    by the way to get to the point amandaz, charity is unconditional love. to love without expecting something back in return, that is real love.
    Jesus loves you :) and you know that:)

    ps: please don't laugh at my parable xD
  16. Jesus don't talk in riddles,he talks in parables :) stories :)

    unconditional love aye,possible for us humans?
  17. LOL that's what I meant, parables!! I forgot the word..
    wow I forgot a word today with dusty, and now here. and in school also a few times the other day. I am forgetting my english :D:D
  18. it's possible :)
  19. nuuu.don't think it's possible. =( people only look at what they can gain from others.
