It Is Well With My Soul

  1. Has anyone heard this hymn before? I heard it for the first time today, and it's my all time favorite hymn. Here are the lyrics for those who have never heard it before:

    a "know" (at the end of the third line) was changed to "say".
    b "A song in the night, oh my soul" (last line)
    was changed to "Even so, it is well with my soul".

  4. It is one of my all-time favorite hymns. Even more so after I had learned the circumstances that inspired it.
