It Is Hard

I have been a Christian on and off all my life. Have got a 7 year old boy and a beautiful 3 week old girl.
It is hard been a parent. The last 4 night have not been good. Not much sleep. I feel for my wife she is having it hard. The hole breast feeding is not going well, and not sleeping.
Have been listening to Third Day, Children Of God (Tea break at work). I realise that I am trying to do it all bye my self and not asking God for help.
Yes while I am try to get her to sleep I and trying to barging with God. It is not right
It is going the be a new start.
I am a proud man and don't ask of help.

Please Pray for me to be strong.

What do you think god can do or what do you want him to do. Is there anything you can do in this hard time. Maybe to just face the reality of the hardship might help more than a placebo effect.

You can be sure of one fact no thing can go on forever in its current state. Things will and allways change.
 
To give me patient. I set and watch the clock just tick by and know I have to be up soon. I get very cross.
I also know it want got on for ever.

Maybe God's trying to get that pridefulness out of ya :) Because we all need help at some points. And in Galatians 6:2, it says to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." We are called to help each other in times of need, but when we shut the out, that's pride and that doesn't fulfill the law of Christ.

And also, if you have pride in yourself, that makes your relationship with God quite difficult. Why? Because we aren't strong enough without Him. If we don't ask for help from others, why would we ask for help from God? Because we do need His help. He's God and we are human and there are things that we cannot do on our own, but only God can. The flesh is weak, and we are all weak. And we need to humble ourselves enough to ask for help.

And I"m glad that you are doing this and allowing God to break down those walls of pride!

Hey Bradley be strong you can do it man. It will get easy. Believe me, & God as my witness ive bought up my two sons one 3 & half yrs old the other 8 yrs, on my own, i wasn't big on God back then i kind of had a fall out after our divorce but at times He must of knew i was due for a break as when my mother use to stop round at home and before she could finish her sentence in asking me if she could take the grankids for a drive i would have them both strapped in the car seats saying bye byes to them :ROFLMAO:

You will have your moments bringing the kids up, but hey you have God to help, It got easier for me as hey got older. You can do all things thrugh Christ, whom gives you strength. Be strong!:)

Just know that other parents have gone through this and are going through this now and so you are not alone in that ordeal and with Jesus being with you always, He will help you through this.
