The problem with intrinsic values is that they are not rooted upon solid grounding, and Russia is one example that Dr. Lennox talks about in the linked video, where people in Russia admitted that they thought that by eliminating God, that they could rely upon intrinsic values within the human hearts of the people, and that only led to mass slaughter and violations of every sort in the arena of abuses and human rights and dignity!
Outside of God's moral foundations, there are no values and morals worthy of adopting! Look at the constant appeals to the animal kingdom various lobbies point to, claiming that perverse, human attractions are not at all unnatural since those things can also be seen in the animal kingdom.
