Inspiration for Week of February 21 to 27, 2021

Good Day, Friends; We commonly use the word 'praise' to honor a sports team or an outstanding person in the
community, but we should also use the word 'praise' to honor God. In Psalm 107: 8-9 (NLT) we are told, "8 Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for all his wonderful deeds to them. 9 For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things."

God is our source of 'nourishment' in a spiritual sense and our Praise should be bestowed upon Him daily for His love and caring for us, His children.

Well said, Pastor Gary, and that is something I need to work on.

Hebrews 13:15 (NAS)

"Through Him then, let’s continually offer up a sacrifice
of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips praising His name."

We don't praise Him for His need of affirmation from us
but our praise, instead, is our vocal and deliberate expression
of appreciation for what He has done.

He has made the blind to see!
