    There is a moderate risk for severe thunderstorms today in Iowa, northern Illinois, Indiana, northern Kentucky, Ohio and western Pennsylvania. These storms will continue to develop in the daytime heating and will move east into the New England and central Atlantic States Wednesday and Thursday. Some severe weather has also been present in parts of Maryland over the past 12 hours causing power outages and golfball sized hail.
    Remember to monitor your local NOAA Weather Stations and local media broadcasts while the severe storms threat is present.
