INFO: October 16-19, 2007 A very strong upper level low pressure area developing along the Jet Stream will be affecting the central plains and Midwest through the end of the week. Due to the available moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, there is a fairly high possibility of severe weather from Texas to the Dakotas later today and continuing into Thursday. As this system moves east, the Mississippi and Ohio Valley areas as well as parts of the deep south will also be affected by the possibility of severe weather. Persons in these areas should monitor local NOAA weather information and local media for important updates, watches and warnings. ================================================== ======= "THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL ADVISORY.
