    A frontal zone is slowly moving out of the Rockies and southern plains today into the central plains and midwest.

    There have already been instances of severe weather along the front with a dozen or so tornadoes reported in the past 18 hours.

    Anyone living in the areas from east Texas up through northern Minnesota should be vigilent and monitor your local media and NOAA weather broadcast stations for official weather news and advisories. The states which will be affected by this series of storms today, March 29, will be Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, eastern Colorado, both South and North Dakota, and later today and into the weekend - Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky and the Ohio Valley states.

    Severe storm watches and warnings are being issued, so please stay up to date on the weather conditions in your area.
