  1. INFO: February 05-06 2008

A clash of two weather features will bring a high probability of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes to the USA's Central Plains and Midwest today and Wednesday. The jet stream flow from southwest to northeast will collide with a surface flow from southeast to northwest.

This will bring huge amounts of Gulf of Mexico moisture inland and will provide the catalyst for rotation in the thunderstorms with the probable formation of tornadoes. The areas at highest risk are from east central Texas all the way to nothern Ohio and western Pennsylvania and all states in between.

Monitor your local weather broadcasts and prepare for these significant storms. Use the link below for up to date watches and warnings.
