165 is heat index, actual temp was 74 degrees, but I do like the verse you posted and I see how it could relate.
  4. Malachi 4:1 (KJV)
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

  6. i think how they tolerate this temperature...................... its too tough to leave in heat like this.
  7. I think we are mixing 2 things.. 74 degrees is Celsius.. Which would translate to 165 Fahrenheit.. Middle east has been burning! The recorded temperature itself has been so high..
  8. And yes, the heat index is 165 F.. But the recorded temperature is also quite high.. 50C which would be 120F and above.
  9. I am from India.. I have seen temperatures until 45C (which is 110F to 115F). Not easy at all.. Almost every year it goes pretty high. What makes it worse is longer duration of heat waves and monsoon not starting on time. When rain does not come on time, the dry heat waves become more intense and longer.. and lack of rain also makes the drought situation really worse..
