If Paul saw the church today

If Paul saw our church today do you think we would be getting a letter?

If He looked round the congregation
and saw what was going on,
Would the letter be full of praise or a diatribe of council and instruction
Which one?
Would it have a postscript identifying good practices seen
He was all for Commending the congregation on their walk with God

Would he want to visit,
Catch up with old friends?
Send an apostle
To encourage the leaders walk with God?
collect tithe’s and offerings when the priorities forgot

The sage advise recorded after the gospels in the bible are read
Would there be needed addendum’s to what’s already been said?

Paul would continue the letters, God led, from the 13 epistles, after and before our times today.

God appointed Paul to admonish, exhort, encourage, strengthen and build up through his letters.

Definitely, yes, we would be receiving a letter from Paul. If Paul saw the church today

is good food for thought and prayer.

Made me think when I wrote the poem, shame with the internet we have got out of the Habit of writing letters I used to love catching up with the news and receiving encouragement from elderly family and friends pre email it just doesn’t feel the same today

if paul saw the Church today there would be new letters wrote and it would not be pretty
