My miniskirts and minishorts are short that they show more than half of my thighs, but they completely cover my butt and crotch... Same length as Candace Flynn or Konata Izumi. Not too short skirts like Sailor Moon.
I recommend not comparing yourself to society, but instead compare yourself to scripture. In my area the churches don't make it a priority to study the Word of God, and this is why the church is becoming so watered down. You get people saying things like, "I think it's okay to be Gay" or "I don't think its bad to watch this or that movie" And I say to that person, who cares what you think. What does God think, and what does His word say.
"Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."

It's better to ask God, because I really read an archeology article where it said that the Bible was mistranslated about the gay things... Or then it might be that it was the Middle-Eastern culture... I ask God... And about the mistranslation: It said that the gay rapes, prostitution, and child sexual abuse were the sins, not the homosexuality... Has any homosexual got transformed into straight by becoming Christian or by being exorcised or something?
When you aren't sure about a verses meaning, it's always wise to compare it to other verses that talk about the same thing. Let's try to find some.
Polly we love God first and most because He commands it in His word. Also, because by loving Him first we are pleasing Him. ;-)
Polly, a lot of people want to say the Bible was mistranslated so their views can become okay. You have to be aware of this! I always look at the original text when someone claims mistranslation and I see that it was NOT mistranslated. To say the same thing with different words isn't mistranslating. People are being dishonest. They want to cause others to be led astray.
