How To Make Diy Planter Box From Tupperware?

Discussion in 'Home and Garden' started by 福井舞, Jan 5, 2014.

  1. Hi

I want to plant some broccoli sprouts.

I don't want commercial planters, they always seem to be full of heavy metals.

so I bought this quality Tupperware lunch box that is deep and big enough.

the only problem is I need to drill proper drainage holes to make it fully functional, and I have no idea how to go about doing this with a Tupperware lunch box.

  2. I've used a hole saw when I've wanted to drill drainage holes in plastic containers and have not had any problems but some plastics are quite brittle and can chip or crack.

I've found some suggestions on this page. It's aimed at acrylic sheet but the ideas could be used for other plastics.
