Have You Experienced The Resurrection In Your Life ?

  1. Hi dear friend,
I think that Jesus in her love action, wanted to teach how we can experience the resurrection in our life !
You can't do a thing like Jesus, but in our daily life, whenever we make a little love action to someone else...
we have experienced the resurrection in your life !

what do you think about ?
Can you share with us one of your love action ?

PS: sorry for my English, I'm learning !
  2. I have been struggling with my faith lately; but this verse (or part of this verse) has been repeating itself over and aver again in me:

    John 1
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

What would we be like if we were 'full of grace and truth'? Many of us have 'truth' and I think most True Christians are pretty full of truth. But we are seriously lacking in being FULL of grace. I think many of us have a touch-perhaps a mustard seed size portion of grace-I am thinking grace and faith are directly proportionately related to each other.

I am no where near being full of grace-too much flesh (carnal thoughts). But thinking of Christ and what He has done for us keeps me from quitting. This is my daily 'resurrection': remembering and thanking God for what He did for me-even when I don't want too....

God increase my faith-so that I may be an example of your Grace-for your Glory; for the Glory of Jesus Christ.

  3. In todays society Christians stand out like sore thumbs. Not because we don't drink , smoke or watch porn. Rather because when someone wrongs us, hurts us, is ugly to us, crashes into us...we are still the kindest, sweetest, gentlest, friendliest person under the sun. In an accident, at work or in sport we are dead honest, even to our detriment.

That overwhelming feeling inside that comes from God and prompts us to turn the left cheek and then some....that is my proof that I am experiencing the resurrection life. I would never do such if Jesus was not resurrected and alive in me.

  4. We fall to sin even after accepting Him bur we will grow in Him to where we do not want to sin.

  6. Good post Daniele...

I'm at a point where I feel like I can find nothing good in myself. It's just not there. But sometimes there is a gentle inflowing of love that I know did not come from myself. At these times I am alive again, when the love is there. The rest of the time I am dead and just going through the motions. This is my experience of resurrection life. Right now it is gone and things are very dark, and it feels like it will never come again. However, I believe that it will return at some point because I still believe in the goodness of God. These cycles of death and resurrection can become so deep and long that they can be referred to as a "dark night of the soul" (St. John of the Cross): or as Paul put it, "For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh" (2 Cor.4:11). The death can be very bitter but the life is very sweet.
