Grieving The Holy Spirit

Discussion in 'General Discussions' started by Mae853, Jan 17, 2014.

  1. I'm going through this experience for a little more than a years now and I think it's me grieving the Holy Spirit. At spontaneous times my eyes will be teary and it really worries me cos I have no control over it nor do I want to cry, does anyone have a similar experience or know of anyone or have any knowledge what's going on with me? I appreciate all feedbacks.
  2. Yes, and yes.

I think you nailed it right on the head with your thread title....
  3. Have you had similar experience and what exactly does it mean?
  4. We come 'under conviction' of the Holy Spirit in love; unlike being convicted under the 'law' condemned as guilty.

We 'grieve' the Spirit when we know what we are doing is wrong, we feel the heartbreak of Christ through the Spirit because as Christians we learn what it is to be Holy and when we are disobedient, God has to distance Himself away from us because of our sin.

We 'feel' the gap between us and God and we long to get closer again when we step away from Him...

It is akin to the 'eternal separation' to remind us that we need God and so do the unbelievers....

Thankfully as Christians this is only a temporary separation; but the longer we are disobedient-the longer the separation lasts.
    dUmPsTeR likes this.
  5. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
    (Eph 4:30-31)

Stop doing these things if your Grieving the Holy Spirit.

You did not mention thoughts or emotions connected to your eyes just watering. It could be caused by bacteria, scratched eyeball that has not healed, a allergy your not aware of. If it bothers you to the point of Worry, I would get it checked out.

Also to dispel myths and make believe, the Holy Spirit will never leave you or forsake you. If he did, you would be in big trouble. Grieve means to be put under burden and for the Anointing Sake God forgave us. (Christ Anointing) So you greatly diminish the anointing.

Eph 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's (Anointing- Jesus the anointed and his Anointing for us) sake hath forgiven you.

We take all the scripture, not just parts.
  6. See a doctor and make sure you do not have epiphora or something like that.

    God Bless,
  7. Honestly though guys I feel doomed. I wish I could share the details with y'all but I was deceived and sin so bad I'm just wanting to die. I had a good thing with God and I fear hell.
  8. I don't have a eye problem, I know this is a spiritual issue, I'm trying to have faith but it seems to elude me.
  9. If Details mean Against the Law, then don't share those. You don't have a eye issue, you have a self condemnation issue. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and clean us from all unrighteousness. Now you have to believe that, and it sounds like you can't afford anymore unbelief in your life so take that scripture as true. Be clean, be forgiven and move forward.

If your concerned about future consequences for what you have done. (Like hide a few bodies in some fields) then you need to seek the Wisdom of God and ask what to do. Whatever you did, it did not remove the Love of God from you, nor could it have.

  10. Sister, do you think your unreachable? Is anything to hard for God? You are far from doomed when you come to Jesus, all you need is to get on your knees and ask Him for forgiveness. The bible says, " if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) That is a promise and God is not a man that he shall lie nor the son of man that He shall repent. (Num 23:19). Just pray for forgiveness, believe what He says, and thank Him for the forgiveness. You do not need to feel it sister, just know it and believe it. Satan works by feelings, God works through truth.

    God Bless,
  11. Exactly.

Pray, read your Bible, ask God to forgive you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. God forgives. You sound very repentant.
  12. Nothing like that, but adultery, lying, seeking occult knowledge been deceived by a false teacher
  13. Have you repented?
  14. How were you deceived?
  15. First you are not deceived, take ownership. You knew the Lord well enough, so call it for what it is. You did wrong despite knowing to do right.

Now it sounds like your done playing with the devil which is good. It only will end in death if you stay in that rats territory.

However, I did hear the Lord and the Lord has a question for you.

If someone came to you and they had been sleeping around, they lied about it and had been playing with Tarot cards but realized it was all horribly wrong and wanted God to forgive them, but just could not snap out of that dark cloud over their head feeling day in and day out.

What would you tell them for advice about your Father in Heaven. Would you tell them there was no hope, what would you say to them?
  16. Yes, I had some kinda spiritual awakening. I pour my heart out before God and I'm trying to have faith but I'm so grieved I feel like I'm hopeless. I want God, but I'm so anger with myself I want to give up. I have wasted my life and I'm been tormented by demons.
  17. Devils bother everyone, day and night they plan, they plot, they are everywhere like roaches. Can you answer the Lord's question? What would you tell that person?
  18. Your sins are forgiven, sin no more
  19. Then go and sin no more. Don't let the devil deceive you into believing you can't be forgiven!
  20. The Lord already told me what you would answer.............. Pay attention to what He said.

Is your Mercy greater than mine, is mine arm to short to save? For as you would have judged someone else by knowing me, so I have also do the same for you but greater. I call you my daughter, and have known you from the start. Am I not your Lord? Can your actions take you away from me?

Daughter go and bother me no more with this, My Love, Power and blood is more than enough, even as you would have had mercy on someone, How much more do I have mercy?

Now go back to where you left off, for you know I gave you may plan in the past, and you know you have my calling to do. Pick back up those things I put in your heart and told, you for you will complete what I promised and accomplish my thing.

Now to start, pick back up that time you had with me in the past, and consider these things no more.

I would just do what He said do. From reading you have something he has put in your heart that you would be doing. Something He put in you in the past but have let go.
