Economic Downturn Warning

Going by Wikiepedia, pound sterling was replaced by the dollar as the world reference in 1944. The National Health system was not implemented until 1948.

I agree, but would offer that many events transpired to its culmination

Can we consider that it began to congeal in 1922 at the Genoa Conference where Britain led the way in Europe by deploying the Gold-Exchange Standard. This was a detrimental move because this system removed gold from the individual’s hand and made gold refundable at the national level only. It was perhaps, save being late to two wars, the largest reason why the United States monetarily moved past Britain’s influence to world monetary dominance over the following decade. By 1926 European monetary influence began to unwind due to the pound getting inflated because Britain was unable to refund the pound with other countries in gold with good parity. Inflation rose around the world and the pound became unstable.

Then in 1931 Britain collapsed the Gold-Exchange Standard even at the national level, and the Gold-Exchange Standard ceased to have its international influence. Though the U.S. suffered economically as well, they were now in position to take over with an international monetary lead since its money was still refundable partially in gold.

However that would change quickly due to FDR taking the U.S off the old partial gold-standard in 1933 for about a year. Basically the U.S. government confiscated the American citizen’s gold and then sold it back to them at a higher rate a year later in the form of issued paper notes, but with “A New Deal,” where intervention would prohibit debt at the individual level to be paid in actual gold. Basically it was a Gold Heist Deal, and then a new set of compulsory laws that kept the physical gold in the hands of the elite.

Due to the collapse of the old Gold-Exchange Standard led by Britain, the U.S amidst economic ware-far saw opportunity to lead the way for a new international system. The International Bretton Wood’s Agreement was formed in 1945 which put the U.S. dollar in place as the world’s reserve currency. Barely backed in gold but now perpetrated internationally with the support of Britain. This system survived as a continuing gold perversion until 1971 where it became predictably insolvent, also where Nixon with another heist, ripped the U.S off the gold standard completely mimicking Britain in 1931.

Since 1971, the last legal gold heist, inflationary methods have ensued, yet since that time the U.S. has been quite strategic to “export our mal-investment” or “inflationary debt” all over the world. We have held down our own U.S. inflation by exporting it elsewhere for over two decades. Yet now that many countries are getting “soaked” with debt and monetary inflation, how long can we still export our abundance of fictitious money? I am not sure.

Reagan, though he was not ethical in many of his monetary spending policies, did something incredibly special in his administration, “The 1985 Coin Bullion Act”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_Bullion_Coin_Act_of_1985

Our ability as individuals to own “real money” was made possible again, even though compulsory intervention still is in place to control its use. Also to our dire economic misfortune, the perversion of central banking and fractural reserve banking still engages in international theft.

“When” the dollar becomes insolvent, I think having real money is wise, yet let us hope that arbitrary powers upon thrones do not declare edicts to engage another heist using organized violence coming from unjust law.

Yet I do not put my hope in gold, silver or natural circumstance upon the earth, for Christ is that rock for our eternal stance; yet I am moved to brace myself for a compulsory economic collapse.

A great read, an incredible dissertation regarding “real” money, and its modern history

Did not the worlds monetary system once be based on the British pond?

yes 1922 to 1931

Was it their government give a ways like universal healthcare and other government giveaways cause their downfall as a major power around the world. Is not the United States doing exactly the same thing?

Though socialism cankered the monetary substrate in Britain like it is doing here in the U.S, I find that the compulsory monopoly of the mint, compulsory fiat paper money, and war to be the greatest contributors which degraded their economic dominance. Yet that is simply my opinion.

God has been doing this to the U.S. every seven years! It is our punishment for being such an evil country! And maybe other things, too.

I love my country no matter its imperfections and its problems. I believe it can change greatly for the better.

I also am in awe of those who have fought, prayed, and died for it.

Will you stand with me to believe it can find its footings upon the virtuous substrate of Natural Rights Theory?

What is the Natural Rights Theory? I guess the name is pretty self-explanatory, but still.

Any nation that gives and supports those who want their government to take care of them without any desire to work them self's, will eventually come to destruction. As it is written.....

2Th 3:10 For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.

(This saying should be engraved over our capital.)

Pro 13:4 The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.

Pro 21:25 The desire of the sluggard kills him, for his hands refuse to labor.

Sure, if we as a nation repent. I do not believe America will repent.

BTW here's proof that the media/government have duped Americans:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-01-30/everything-awesome-american-consumers-are-happiest-11-years

Notice the % of employed, 59.2% which means that 40.8% actual real unemployment - this is from the Labor Department which means of the US population, 40.8% are NOT working for whatever reason. What's the "published" unemployment rate? 5.8% - everything is awesome, NOT!

Some other stats:
Think of what just happened in NYC... an erroneous WEATHER forecast shut the city down, emptying the food supply in just hours. What will happen when "it" really hits the fan?

Hearing the great news about 5.6% unemployment? Here are the facts. If you're unemployed and NOT looking for work, but given up, you're not counted. Below is the chart for the percentage of the US population that IS working, 59.1%. This means that 40.9% of those that CAN work, are NOT. That is the real number. Factor in the number of underemployed people, aka a rocket scientist working at McDonald's, then you have really scary numbers.

People lie too much...

What is the Natural Rights Theory? I guess the name is pretty self-explanatory, but still.
Is it the natural ethical framework consisting of "just-law," which permeates from our worldly primordial created genesis; it is the primary delegation from God, that life, liberty and honest appropriated property are "justly" embodied as a Natural Right in every person existing on earth regardless of race, gender or creed.

I agree
Thus Socialism is nonsensical to help the indolent sluggard.

Yet what of the helpless? Is Socialism warranted to help the helpless? I contend it is not, for Socialism is predicated on economic violence which thrashes Natural Rights from scripture.

Thus ethics must be considered higher than ideologies of benevolence in the confines of organized theft. Your thoughts?

That sounds great.
