Does God move people out of your life for a reason?

  1. And unexpectedly?

    Out of the blue a friend I was friends with for 3 years ...just picked a fight out of the blue... I was never mean to them at all...

    And it just ended..just like that. I could see if I attacked them in anyway..but I didn't...I just don't understand this... But after the name calling its Defintely unfixable...

    Idk... It just seems pretty ideal to be alone.
    People can be really messed up.

  2. Yes God will remove people but this just sounds like your friend gave into the flesh and out as through the influence of the devil.

    Pray about it. You may just need to forgive and or move on.

    I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

    The truth about forgiveness: when we forgive somebody, we forgive ourselves for having to forgive.
    If you see this truth, you will either forgive them and/or banish the need to forgive them. In either case, all is forgotten.

  4. Jesus entrusted Himself to no man for He knew what was in a man - John 2:24

    we all need to learn to let God flow through us so we can be a genuine blessing to others

    there really is nothing good about any of us - the only truly good part of us is Christ in us our hope of glory/perfection - Colossians 1:27

    so the more we decrease and allow Christ in us to increase - the more we will be a blessing to others

    God was definitely not flowing through your friend at the moment they were being abusive to you

    Jesus said Father forgive them they don't know what they do - Luke 23:34

    Paul said we wrestle powers not people - Ephesians 6:12

    i have learned and need to keep reminding myself that i am here to bless others - and God will bless me in many ways - including through people - but i need to remember to not entrust myself to any person because they are falible - sometimes God flows through them to bless me - and sometimes they do things that are not inspired by God which hurt me

    so just a lesson to me to cling to God and love and forgive others

    and if people get abusive and don't repent i give them a time out - i do not allow them access to me for a period of time - so they learn what it is like to NOT have me in their life - as a result they may learn to appreciate me - if my absence does not make their heart grow fond toward me then they get no access to me again

    life is too short and God needs us to reach out to as many people as possible before Jesus comes back - so we don't have time to get entangled in unprofitable or toxic relationships

    praying for you my dearest friend due to this shock and woundedness you have experienced

    abuse is almost always hurtful - but if God is not flowing through a person they have a high probablility of behaving badly

    Please be careful in what you share with others concerning forgiveness towards others.

    Big smile here, and am in no way being angry or mad .
    It's just that one who is not truly rooted in Christ can read this as if others need to repent in order to be forgiven and that simply is not truth.

    Let's look at a couple of scriptures

    Mark 11:25
    When we stand praying. ...... FORGIVE if you have aught against any......

    So far we see
    When we stand praying to forgive.
    One is not going to stand praying for days or years waiting for some one to repent so we Can SEE this means Right Now no matter what.

    If one feels another needs to repent then no matter if they did you wrong.....one has aught or offense against the wrong doer.

    If one will take notice.....God deals with or commands us the ones who were wronged to forgive Right then and there.
    What others do is not even a factor in our forgiving them.

    So your Father......Which is in Heaven....MAY....FORGIVE.....you of your trespasses.

    We all know 1 John 1:9
    If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness

    However truth be told......when we still feel or hold onto the fact that so and so did not even repent or show remorse for what they did to me.....

    We are in Truth at fault and judging them.
    We have offense against them no matter how we try to reason it.

    This Will Keep God from working in the situation.

    No friend, Love holds no record of wrongs nor is Easily offended.

    Most Christians today get offended about everything and nothing at all and act as if they are owed .

    These are the ones who live within struggle. They struggle within every area of their lives.
    They walk frustrated because their Prayer life is not what it should be and find peace a constant stranger and so forth.

    Scripture tells us to forgive our enemies and do good unto those that persecute us.

    No mention of......if they repent or show remorse.

    People feel led to take a job and soon quit and walk away because it was hard or people were not the kind of nice they desire.

    That is sad and pitiful. If God sent you there then He knew what it would be like AND WANTED to use one there to impact their lives......

    But oh no, they did me wrong and did not repent so I don't have to take this.....
    That's simply being un-usable and a shameful example of the Love of God.

    Love and Forgiveness is not a if they do anything but a Requirement or Commandment in how we are to live.

    Some say love is a Verb
    Some say Love is an Action.

    Scripture says Love is a Lifestyle we are Required to live.

    my post was perhaps too long but in that post i first said to forgive everyone as per the words of Jesus and then near the end said to avoid people if neccessary

    i perhaps should have quoted a few scriptures to back up the point about avoiding certain people

    to clarify the bible says in many places to avoid people for various reasons - here are just a few:
    1. an angry man - Proverbs 29:22
    2. a man that causes divison - Romans 16:17-18, Titus 3:10
    3. a man that does not love the truth - Matthew 15:14
    4. abusers - 2 Timothy 3:1-5

    that is what i was meaning

    i have practiced this and it works very well

  9. I understand this...I also think no one should allow someone to walk all over them either. I get forgiving someone but if some one clearly donesnt respect you and shows that time and time again, as a christian, when do you say enough is enough? I just also think God gives us common sense to so we won't be abused.

    Nothing can replace or excuse Forgiveness.

  11. Doing good to people who do you wrong has always been a sore point for me. It's a communication thing.
    How can we love our enemies? If they are no longer in our life ?we pray and bless them...that's easy if they never intended to hurt us. If they intend to hurt us, it's piercing to the bone and confusing. We wonder why.
    This must be one of the most hardest scripture to put into practice for me.
    To tell you the truth,
    I'm learning the difference between love and and like. I might not like everyone, but I gotta learn to love them.
    And it's pretty hard because I don't like to offend ppl. But my idea of offending someone is thinking they might get ashamed and guilty...and then turn the other cheek and smother me.
    I like being alone when someone does me wrong but intrusive thoughts tend to envelope me and so if they're out of our lives, We get stuck with it and dwell on it and it festers.
    Then I know I've got a problem. All beacause I never communicated my emotions truthfully in the Spirit.

    autum, we need to learn how to communicate better.

  12. Trust me, your not the only one who has issues in this area. But if we can get in the habit of saying I forgive this person who did this to me, no matter how we "feel"... eventually our emotions will line up with Gods ways.

    I have been in serious forgiveness training for awhile. And most of it I have to do by faith, because my fleshly nature wants to hold a.grudge and major in offense.. being offended by everything some people do.

    The enemy will provide the offense, and every opportunity for us to be offended every moment of every day, but we have to resist grabbing ahold of it, and acting upon it. We have to make the choice to stay (act) in loves ways. To be obedient to Jesus command to love, even if we don't feel like it. We do it by faith... speak the words and allow the obedience to the Word transform your feelings. It's the only way to things when the flesh wants it's way... but remember that the way of the flesh leads to death (which can also manifest as sickness).

    This is how we rest in the Word as described in Hebrews 4.

    God bless you Fee! We sure love you and know that your doing a great job. Steady and consistent wins the race. Plus lots of practice :) (which is the most important part) faith is what pleases Him... not perfection or doing things perfectly all the time. The effort and obedience is what counts

  14. That all came into your spirit when you first accepted Jesus into your heart (Romans 5:5 And Galatians 5:22-23). It just needs to be developed. And your flesh made to submit. For extra srtength... ask to be filled with the spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues... and get joy (which is our strength, Nehemiah 8:10).

    We have to override our fleshly desires to be sad or down or anything that is opposite to Gods character.. and sometimes laugh when we have no desire to.

    The Holy Spirit does not control people... that is what the enemy does.

    Will be praying for you for sure!

  15. Emotions need to be under the subjection of the Spirit.
    Joy in the Lord has nothing to do with our emotions or feelings but true joy in the Lord will put emotions and feelings under the control of the Spirit.

    Some say I am sad because I am depressed but is it .....that your depressed because your sad?

    Some say I am angry because of what so and so did to me.......or is it......rather your angry because one is more focused on self and feelings and emotions MORE then they are on Christ?

    Hurt feelings.......control people's actions, reactions and moods.
    Yet we are commanded to Walk by Faith and not sight or feelings.

    Scripture says Faith can NOT Work without Love.
    Scripture says Love does not keep a record of Wrongs.
    Why ? Because Love Forgives!!

    Parents.......has their been times when your kids were really messing up and doing things that you were so not pleased with?
    You still loved them and would take care of them....

    Its the same in all our life
    We are commanded to Love and Forgive People.......does not say we have to like them or what they do.

    However not liking them can not take away Forgiveness or Love. This is a must if you want your life to be successful as a born again believer.

    Bitterness and unforgiveness towards someone can and will shut the flow of God off in your life and hinder your prayer life and render your faith useless and ....understand this......Totally gives the devil our adversary a RIGHT in our lives and affairs that he should not have ever had.

    Love is a Lifestyle that every Born Again Believer better develop.

  16. Hey Autumn, It is also possible to forgive someone, and then walk away.

    I know that God has forgiven me all my sins, and there were some pretty big ones! But we are not God. Forgiveness is a crazily huge thing, for me anyway, and I see I'm not the only one lol. But, if someone is dangerous or damaging in your life, grit your teeth, forgive them, and go.

    Forgiveness is one thing, forgiving and allowing that person to be continuously in your life is another. Especially if that person is going to continue to do you harm. You are absolutely correct, God gave you common sense. I don't know the exact circumstances of your situation, only you do. So only you can decide what to do. Pray for this person. Forgive them. But ultimately, it's up to you whether or not you still want them in your life.

    Sometimes it's sad to let people go. But God does remove some people from your life for a reason.

  18. Yeah I feel allowing them to be in your life is like a big no-no especially if they were malicious and intended to hurt you... If you keep allowing the same hurt ..people will deem you as weak...

    And that's another thing I wanted to talk about...how do we as Christian show love and kindness without being weak doormats?( because there are people that will take advantage and keep doing it because they don't care)
