Do You question God ?

Discussion in 'Thoughts for Today' started by Dusty, Jun 19, 2010.

  1. Do You question God ?

God made you just the way He felt you should be. Stop looking at others to see what you 'should' look like. God knew what He was doing when He made you. You are unique - made just the way He wanted you to be!

Or do you question His wisdom and creativity?
  2. He doesn't want a duplicate of someone else :)

He wanted you to be YOU. There's no one quite like you!

( or ME! Thanksfully LOL )
  3. Yup .... I am one of a kind .... LOL ... But all kidding aside ; there are so many people who want to look like this one or that one and have plastic surgery and all the rest .

It is the person who is comfortable in their own skin and who loves themself ; then they can love others as God asks us to do .
  4. You're right :)
  5. I do still sometimes questions God.

I ask him...... "Why did you have to make me so darn good looking?"

But you are correct. It doesn't matter much what we look like on the outside.
  6. We are all special indeed! (Of course, if we tell people they are going to hell, then there a bit of a contradiction..)

    God doesn't make garbage!

    brian (from Minnesota, too!)
  7. God says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Each one of us have a uniqueness about us that God gave us.

    God bless
  8. Hey, that's the same question I usually ask Him. [IMG]
  9. My questions usually are answered by what He does through those things i don't like about myself . it's like .. why this .. and then not too long later it's like some strength of some sort . hehehe i think this is another "answer" to prayer . sometimes He answers in action so i'll see it His way .
  10. Exactly my point . We are all precious in God's sight . He loves us cause He made us . And that to me is all that counts and some day I will have a perfect body .... Yay . Can't wait .

  11. That's right . So in my eyes that's all that matters . We are special .
  12. Amen Michael . My crooked teeth have always been my contention but when I think about it .... here I am 70 yrs old and have all my teeth so that is more that a lot of people can say at my age . Praise God for my crooked teeth .
  13. I've heard that when we get to heaven, the first words out of our mouths will be....

    Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh......... So that's why!!!
  14. Amen Dusty Amen .

  15. Exactly . Praise God .
  16. When I see the residents at work… who are the kind of people that sometimes get laughed at when out in public….. I can see God in them more than I can see God in me.

The so called “handicapped” people make me realize that I myself am handicapped in many ways. But all these handicapped labels mean nothing to God. We are all perfect in his eyes.

  17. Amen Dean ... Good point. Every one is made in the image of God . Not that we are divine but that we all have our qualities and differences and people who put labels on people are probably not happy with themselves .

You can talk to parents of disabled children and they will tell you the blessing these children have been and how loving and accepting they are . Some of the greatest talents come from these people .

    Amen Who am I,

It is my belief that as soon as we walk through those pearly gates
we will have NO MORE questions to ask. The answer to every question
we ever had here on earth will automatically be known to our hearts.

    Just my belief.
  20. i think we won't remember our questions because their premise will disappear .

    Isaiah 65:17
"Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.
