Discussion in 'Severe Weather' started by Pastor Gary, Dec 20, 2007.

  1. December 20-21, USA Gulf Coast and South

We are tracking a very intense weather area establishing itself in an area bounded by southern Texas, south central Oklahoma and southern Mississippi. A warm air mass with high moisture content from the Gulf of Mexico will be over-run by an upper level cold air mass currently over Nevada. This clash will produce heavy rains, high winds, strong thunderstorms, hail and some tornadic activity from early Thursday December 20 into late Friday, December 21.
Persons in this area are urged to monitor local NWS Weather Broadcasts as well as using the NOAA Watch and Warning link below starting on Thursday morning, December 20.
