We are to follow Him….leaving our churches of error behind when we hear the revealed Word of God. We are to leave them for His sake and the good news of His appearing life in our mortal flesh…. “eternal life”…in the here and now. Mark 10:28-30 KJV (28) Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. (29) And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, We are to go out into the “wilderness”….the world….and wait for the Lord to build us into His spiritual building. We shall receive 100 percent of what we leave behind. We shall gain brothers and sisters in the Word of Truth. The persecutions shall come from those we leave behind for they will think it strange that we shall no longer run with them in the churches. This is coming soon. (30) But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. James wrote to us TODAY to those who have left their “churches” and are scattered abroad….as we await for the Lord to build us all into His building. We have left our churches and have gone out into the world so to speak and seek a continuing city from Him. James 1:1-4 KJV (1) James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. We shall receive persecutions from the “churches” we leave behind….but we are to “count it all joy”. The persecutions shall try our faith in what we have heard. We shall face many temptations to render evil back for their evil….but we are to work patience. Let patience have her “perfect work” so that we may be complete and entire, lacking nothing. (2) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; (3) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (4) But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Blessed is the man that endures the temptation to speak evil back towards those who will falsely accuse and vilify us in this coming time when we have left their churches. When our faith is tried, we shall receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to them that love Him. We love Him and keep His commandments. We are to show love at all times….especially in the face of their persecutions that will come in this coming time. James 1:12 KJV (12) Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. They shall persecute us but we are to be “sober”….be vigilant to not render evil for their evil. They shall walk about seeking those they may devour. The “devil”….the “false accuser”….shall walk about seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8-11 KJV (8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: We are to resist steadfast in the faith knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in our brothers that are in the world. They are in the world for they have left their churches behind also and are awaiting for the Lord to build us together into His building. (9) Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. After we have suffered for a while with their persecutions, He will make us complete and will establish and strengthen and settle us. We shall be built together as a city that can not be hid. (10) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. (11) To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. They shall vilify us as they shall cast us into a “prison” so to speak. It will be a prison of false accusations and evil slandering. But we are to remember to be faithful unto the “death”…..for the Lord suffered for us and left the example that we are to follow. We are to follow in His foot steps. When He was reviled, He did not revile back. He did not threaten when He suffered but committed Himself to God that will judge righteously those who will behave with evil. We are to be faithful unto His death and follow after Him by also dying to sin….evil speaking…when we shall suffer their persecutions in this coming time. But the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing away from the earth in their sins....evil speaking. They will not follow after His example. 1 Peter 2:19-25 KJV (19) For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. (20) For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. (21) For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: (22) Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: (23) Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: (24) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (25) For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. If we are dead to sins, we shall also live His life unto righteousness. They will persecute us in their "prison" so to speak as they will be as a roaring lion seeking those whom they may devour with their evil speaking. We shall receive a crown of life if we are not faint but continue to do well doing in the face of their persecutions. Revelation 2:8-11 KJV (8) And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; (9) I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. We are to fear none of those things which we shall suffer. They shall try our faith but we are to be faithful unto death….not rendering evil for their evil. He shall give us a crown of life. (10) Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. The tongue is a fire that they will use to try to devour us in. They will walk about seeking to devour us. They will weary themselves in their evil to get us to respond back in evil. We are to overcome that temptation to render evil for their evil. We shall not be hurt of the “second death”. The furnace of fire shall not singe us. (11) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Daniel was also tested “ten days”. The “pulse” that he was given to eat was the fruit of the Spirit. The word “pulse” means “something sown”….as in sowing to the Spirit. the water is the water of life that we drink freely. The children that ate of the king’s meat and drank his wine are those who will behave in envy, strife and the wine of wrath towards those who will sow after the Spirit in this coming time. They will persecute us “ten days”….testing our faith…..but we are to always sow to the Spirit in the face of their persecutions. Daniel 1:11-21 KJV (11) Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, (12) Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. (13) Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. (14) So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. We shall suffer for “ten days” but we shall receive a crown of life if we continue to sow after the Spirit. If we live after the flesh, we shall reap decay in the mortal flesh. Those that will eat the portion of the king’s meat are those who will mind the flesh and behave in their envy and strife and opposition. They will follow after the pernicious ways of their church rulers. But those who are led by the Spirit shall have their mortal bodies quickened by His Spirit. (15) And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. (16) Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (17) As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. (18) Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. (19) And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. (20) And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm. Daniel “continued” even unto the first year of king Cyrus. He had “eternal life”….for he continued to live. (21) And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus. Those who are of the king’ s portion will mind the things of the flesh and will reap decay. But those who will eat “pulse”…sowing after the Spirit…minding after the things of the Spirit…shall reap life. Romans 8:5-14 KJV (5) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. (8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead shall dwell in us, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken our mortal bodies by His Spirit that will dwell in us. Our countenances will appear fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat….of those who will mind the flesh. We will receive a crown of life. (11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. (12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. (13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. If we sow to the Spirit (“pulse” = something sown), then we shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Our flesh shall be quickened by His Spirit. Galatians 6:7-10 KJV (7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. (8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. WE shall reap His life...the crown of life.... in our mortal flesh which shall appear in us to our joy. (9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (10) As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
