2 1/2 cups flour
3 Tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 stick of butter or margarine
3/4 cup water
2 Tablespoons of orange juice
Zest of 3/4 to a whole large orange
1/2 cup dried cranberries (craisons)

Put flour, baking powder,salt and brown sugar into a bowl. Using pastry blender mix ingredients together. Add butter and blend till butter resembles peas. Add orange zest, cranberries, water and vanilla (I put the vanilla in the water) and mix together.
Shape into balls and pat to about an inch thick circle or do like a drop biscuit or put on floured counter or surface and roll out to 1 in thick and let rest for 5-10 minutes. Bake at 375 For 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
