Christ's economic system

Perhaps this is the reason then that Christ will have to rule with an iron fist, because these things will be taking place.

My thinking on the Millenial Kingdom isn't set in cement because I can't get my mind wrapped around a prefall world, where there is no evil. The physical world will be vastly different colored by superior perception. Time will still be an element. Family life and the social environment will have different motivation. Why would vetted, superior believers who have Christ to lead them raise bad children? I usually end up putting this aside, thinking I will know better when I get there.

May I submit this for your consideration:
Why would lucifer rebel against God the way he did? Because he had free will and could choose to do so...so will the children of the millennium. I was going to include Adam and Eve in that question as well but that would not be an accurate comparison since Satan tempted them and there will be no one to tempt them in the coming millennium.

I did consider it but I didn't want to go over long in a post. Scripture tells us that Lucifer fell because of pride. There are 2 stories here from scripture and apocryphal sources. Lucifer didn't want to serve man as he felt superior....or he thought he could be a better God. Something happened to cause a fall for him and he hates humanity and/or he knows God loves us (like Job) and knows he can hurt God this way. We don't know the whole or details of this story. And we don't know all of God's plan for Lucifer or even ourselves. The Millenial Kingdom is purported to be a perfect world with all the good and none of the bad. But somehow, after the 1000 years, some of us will still fail. Idk.

Whether human or angel...apparently we still have emotions and I guess, they can still get twisted, over time. And I'm thinking these days, it was Eve who fell for temptation....Adam fell because he loved Eve and didn't want to lose her.

Personally I don't believe that any believer that has passed through this life into the millennium will be able to fail and ever turn away. It will be those born in the millennium that will be able to do this.

But the believer that passes into the millenium will still be alive...the children will be their children/descendants. Without any evil in the world and Christ to teach/lead us...I can't wrap my head around how this could happen.

I agree it is difficult to fathom but sadly this will happen [emoji20]

I have given some thoughts about this recently. Values, in the economic sense will undoubtedly change. I wonder on why Christ will need an iron fist to rule believers.....The values of things like money have been satan based almost from time immemorial. Even now, with ATM's, etal - the money we use today is illusionary and based essentially on nothing. With "glorified" bodies, I wonder what we will eat. I wonder what abilities they will allow us. My conclusion is that it is almost impossible to guess what that time will be like. Certainly not like now....where the majority of $$ is spent on wars and destruction and porn and evil. Everyone will have enough to eat, and live freely and work at things they love.

Ruling with a rod of iron is alluding to the fact that Jesus will be a just King and will punish evildoers without question. Over 1000 years there will be countless people born into the Millennial Kingdom who will still need to discover the means to salvation, and sinning will not be a foreign concept, even with Satan bound, as human beings are evil in the natural, also.

As for us, in our glorification, we will be like Jesus, who ate while He was in His changed state...so we will live our lives here with greater ease than we certainly do, now.

As for the monetary question, I do believe that there will be work for pay for people, but the system will be a perfect one...I don't have a clue beyond that!

So you think original sin will still be present in the millennium?

There will be much fear, horror, opposition and revolting among the ungodly nations at the sight of Jesus coming.

Revelation 2:26-28
6 To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end,

To them I will give authority over all the nations.
27 They will rule the nations with an iron rod
and smash them like clay pots.
28 They will have the same authority I received from my Father, and I will also give them the morning star!

Revelation 19:11-16
11 Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. 12 His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. 13 He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. 15 From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. 16 On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.

After quelling the wicked attempts to stop Him, we will get down to the business of governing the new Kingdom at hand:

Isaiah 65:20-25

20 “No longer will babies die when only a few days old.
No longer will adults die before they have lived a full life.
No longer will people be considered old at one hundred!
Only the cursed will die that young!
21 In those days people will live in the houses they build
and eat the fruit of their own vineyards.
22 Unlike the past, invaders will not take their houses
and confiscate their vineyards.
For my people will live as long as trees,
and my chosen ones will have time to enjoy their hard-won gains.
23 They will not work in vain,
and their children will not be doomed to misfortune.
For they are people blessed by the Lord,
and their children, too, will be blessed.
24 I will answer them before they even call to me.
While they are still talking about their needs,
I will go ahead and answer their prayers!
25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together.
The lion will eat hay like a cow.
But the snakes will eat dust.
In those days no one will be hurt or destroyed on my holy mountain.
I, the Lord, have spoken!”

Fascinating

Uh, why would there be people being born in the millenium? Wont we all be changed?
since we are living for a thousand years, in our new bodies. Why would we need to reproduce or marry? i dont get it.
satan is loosed out of his prison when his thousand years is up, but all those who did not accept Jesus are shut out of heaven OUTSIDE the gates, being wicked and evil, but they wont ever be allowed in heaven...and then at the end they are destroyed.

We wont be living with the wicked thats for sure. They are not written in the book of life.

Right, you don't get it. The only immortal people here at that time will be Jesus and us---the Church, who will have already undergone our change to glorification when Jesus caught the Church away as her Bridegroom. There will be mortal human beings on earth during the second coming of Christ, who will be accompanied by us, the saints, and these mortals will have been survivors of the Tribulation and will be the ones who will be marrying and reproducing to re-populate the earth and make up the nations God tells us about.

We will be living with people who will sin, and people who will receive their Messiah---as we will be ruling and reigning with Christ.

This is all about Earth, not heaven.
