Can you do without Jesus?

  1. Can you do without Jesus?

15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in
him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do

11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh
to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them
    that diligently seek him.

9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and
without shedding of blood is no remission.

2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works
    is dead also.

12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then
are ye bastards, and not sons.

13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all
mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I
could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man
    shall see the Lord:
  2. I can do nothing without Jesus, Bro. Daniels. When I lapse in my praying and Bible studying, I feel lost and like there is chaos around me. He helps me stablize my life, where there are many trials. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing comes through the Word of God. Without Him, there isn't much I can do. Thanx for the Word, Bro.
  3. We cannot do anything without God.
  4. Do what, exactly? Just kidding:D...

NO! "Apart from me ye can do NOTHING!" Pretty self-explanatory...:)

  5. I agree; even the thought of the question "Can I do without Jesus?"...
Who would want to? After having Jesus in your life as Lord and Savior.

    What can I do without Jesus?...I agree that the scripture says;
apart from him we can DO nothing...

In the strictest sense; we CAN DO NOTHING of eternal value without
Jesus for sure; we can not even BE without Jesus!!!
    Acts 17:28
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

WHAT WOULD YOU BE WITHOUT JESUS??? eternally lost.

Thank You Lord for Your love and mercy toward us; How Great You are!!!
  6. No, everything I attempt, fails, lol..
And when I give it to God, it is always done right, so nothing is exactly what I can do, without the Lord, and I can do all things with him!!!
Thanks for the post, I enjoy reading your posts!
  7. You need Jesus Christ.
  8. I can do a lot without Jesus, which ends up being lot of harm to myself and life. It is only with Him and by His Grace that I can do anything worthwhile in my life.

    Blessings, Cheri
  9. I understand what you're saying, but you may want to clarify. Part of what you wrote can easily be blasphemy. He holds your very being together, you can't even count on your next breath.

He said that unless we drink of His blood and eat of His body, we have no part with Him. That means unless He's our everything, and our sustenance.
  10. Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Even the lost cannot do without Jesus as He gives them every beat of their hearts and every breath.
What is to stop matter from collapsing in on itself as the negatives and the positives in our atomic structure could easily cancel each other out?
"upholding all things by the word of his power" He is the one that keeps everything going from the tiniest partical to the greatest Galaxy.
  11. I'm sorry that I posted this in a way that could be interpreted as blaspheme. That was definitely not my intent.

I realize that without the Lord, whether I'm with Him or not, without him, not only could I not do anything, I wouldn't exist.

What I meant was, when I have done things in my life after turning away from the Lord, everything I did or attempted failed and a lot of it ended up being harmful to me and my life. However, since I have been born again and he is the focus of my life, I am more successful and make much better decisions and choices that end up being good for me, my family and my life.

    I hope that's better.

    Blessings, Cheri
