Buying The Anointing

  1. “Ho, EVERY one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? And your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness” Isaiah 55:1-2

From the above scripture, wine and milk, represent the Spirit and Power of God (The Anointing). And God makes a clarion call for us to come and buy them. And that, without money or any price…

But inasmuch as he doesn’t want us to buy his Spirit or the Anointing with physical currency (or money), he does expect us to buy them with some demands. After all, if there was absolutely no price for getting the Holy Spirit and his Power, then there won’t be any need for the term ‘Buy’.

So in a spiritual sense, God doesn’t want us to get his Spirit or Anointing with any financial or material price. But all the same, he does expect some things to be exchanged. And this implicit prices can be found right on the scripture above and other scriptures as we’re going to examine soon.

You know, very recently, I have been experiencing the heavenly presence and Power of God in an unusually increasing dimension. And as I meditate on the reason for the Anointing, my eyes are being opened to some scriptural truths that prompts God to anoint his children in an ever increasing dimensions…

And I’m here sharing these truths, so those folks who have been looking up to God for his presence and Power of his presence (the Anointing), can know the right spiritual (and scriptural) buttons to press. And more so, those who have been pressing the wrong buttons can re-align their selves appropriately.

    So without any ado…

How Do We Buy The Anointing?

    1. Salvation- Acts 2:38: The first step to receiving the presence and Power of God, is to genuinely repent and accept Jesus as your Lord and personal savior.

    2. Thirst- John 7:37-39: From the opening scripture of Isaiah 55:1, the word of God says: “Ho Every one that thirsteth…” So before God will anoint you, you need to thirst for the Anointing. If you do not thirst for it, or you’re unbelieving- may be as a result of religion- he won’t anoint you with his Power, because God does not give to people what they don’t desire or believe in.

    3. Absolute and Sacrificial Obedience: From the opening scripture, the word of God says: “Hearken diligently unto me…” So as you hearken diligently to God through his word and the leading of the Holy Spirit, you get more and more anointed. As you apply the one he gives you according to his will, he will anoint you the more.

Then finally, because of space, you also buy the anointing by continually being on the lookout for souls and evangelizing them (soul winning) (Matthew28:18-20). You buy the anointing by continual, quality-time, fellowship with the Holy Spirit. You buy the anointing by continual repentance and sanctification by the help of the Holy Ghost…

For a detailed teaching on the Anointing and the scriptural price to pay, get Benny Hinn’s Book; “The Anointing ”.

  2. Benny Hinn is a heretic, a false teacher.
Nothing he says or writes should be accepted as anything other than garbage.

  3. You do know my brother that it is obvious that your agenda is that of the Word of Faith believers. We have several here so you will be right at home. I just ask you to prepare yourself for the push back because a lot...(me for one) do not agree with the agenda you are pushing.

Glomung is very correct. The person you mentioned to us to buy his book is a heretic and was actually run out of his church in Orlando Fl. several years ago. That is the reason he is in Texas along with the fact that Texas like Florida does not have a state income tax my friend. You see, it is all about money not faith!!!!

Do the work for yourself and google Mr. Hinn and read all about him and his work.

We have to be careful here on CFS and make sure we post truth and proof or it is a danger. So..........
"Benny Hinn, Benny Hinn program on TBN (October 3, 1991).............said these words:

"God the Father, ladies and gentlemen, is a person; and He is a triune being by Himself separate from the Son and the Holy Ghost."

"See, God the Father is a person, God the Son is a person, God the Holy Ghost is a person. But each one of them is a triune being by Himself. If I can shock you—and maybe I should—there’s nine of them."

Now, would you care to explain those words and of course it is acceptable only if you use the Word of God as a basis for your explanation.
  4. Amen my friend......Amen!

  6. Thank you, emekrus, for posting that very uplifting article on Isaiah 55. We do indeed have to dive in to receive the anointing!

  7. For starters, the link you provided is non-working (not opening from my browser).

Then for the explanation of the statements above, Here is the spiritual explanation as the Holy Spirit revealed it to me persoanlly as I meditated on the Godhead (I believe I have the Holy Ghost in me, guiding me into all truth)...

    For the statements:
<QUOTE>"God the Father, ladies and gentlemen, is a person; and He is a triune being by Himself separate from the Son and the Holy Ghost."

"See, God the Father is a person, God the Son is a person, God the Holy Ghost is a person. But each one of them is a triune being by Himself. If I can shock you—and maybe I should—there’s nine of them."

For starters, we can understand the Godhead by careful study of the entity 'Man'. You know, God created man in his own Image and likeness.
Man like his creator, God, is three in one (spirit, soul and body), and these three are one. The same way, God is also three in one. Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and the three are also one.

Now as it concerns the Godhead, the Godhead is one entity(substance) and three Manifestation -or subsistence- Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Unlike man, God being the supreme God, and omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient God, can exist or manifest(and have been manifesting), in each of his different subsistence. He can manifest as the Father, as the Son and as the Holy Spirit.

And each of these manifestation as a single entity(or substance), carries each subsistence along. Hence, when he manifests as the Father, he maintains the three personality in himself (the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit). When he manifests as the Son, he still maintains the same subsistence (Father, Son and the Holy Spirit). Then finally when he manifests as the Holy Spirit- as he is currently doing- he still maintains the three personality (Father, Son and the Holy Spirit).
Hence, the deep revelation Benny Hinn is trying to pass across at those instances is that the Godhead(Father, Son and the Holy Spirit) are separable (in subsistence), and yet inseparable(in substance).
Meditate on the scriptures concerning this revelation I have just shared here with a open heart an ask the Holy Spirit to teach you more .
    Remain Blessed!

  8. Not so my brother. What he said is total heresy! It is not Biblical in any way and can not be explained away or spiritualized.

SO, what Mr. Hinn said and YOU are agreeing with is that now the ancient doctrine of the triune Godhead has been replaced with this strange notion of “nine persons of the Godhead”, and this, by “REVELATION KNOWLEDGE”?

YOU my dear brother need to pray about this and ask the Holy Spirit to break your heart over such nonsense so that you will not be indoctrinated into false teachings.

Here is another heretical statement you can try to explain away.

(Benny Hinn, Our Position in Christ #2—The Word Made Flesh (Orlando: Orlando Christian Center, 1991), videotape #255.....
“God came from heaven, became a man, made man into little gods, went back to heaven as a man. He faces the Father as a man. I face devils as the son of God..Quit your nonsense! What else are you? If you say, I am, you’re saying I’m a part of Him, right? Is he God? Are you His offspring? Are you His children? You can’t be human! You can’t! You can’t! God didn’t give birth to flesh…You said, “Well, that’s heresy.” No, that’s your crazy brain saying that."

SO Jesus is a man at the right hand of the Father, and Benny Hinn is God in the earth—-AND IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN, YOU CAN’T BE HUMAN? May I just ask you a question; did Benny Hinn’s wife file for divorce against Benny the God , or Benny the human?
  9. You know that I agree with you.

Enemy's isn't just posting this heresy here, but on another Christian forum as well.

  11. Most people don't read the word of God beyond their dogma so when someone says something from the word of God they've not heard via their dogma, they dismiss it right off. I remember this happening to me with my own dad when I was a kid. We were talking about the Lord's coming and I mentioned the Lord would come like lightning from the east to the west. He told me I was wrong. We didn't have computers then so I couldn't remember the verse number to show him Matt 24:27. I felt terrible and it felt he was calling me a liar though I knew he didn't mean that. But he just dismissed what I said.

Anyhow, where do you think he got the count of nine from? The nine count comes from these:

    Revelation 1:4 (KJV)
    John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
    Revelation 4:5 (KJV)
And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and [there were] seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Now you understand the temple Menorah - seven lamp stand

Who are the seven Spirits of God?

    Isaiah 11:2 (KJV)
    And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
    1. Spirit of the Lord (Whom we call the Holy Spirit)
    2. Spirit of Wisdom
    3. Spirit of Understanding
    4. Spirit of Counsel
    5. Spirit of Might
    6. Spirit of Knowledge
    7. Spirit of the Fear of the Lord
These seven and the Father and the Son sum to nine. Maybe this is why "Trinity" isn't a word in the word of God. Besides, how can we number God, He is all and therefore One! We are made in His image and we're made up of more than 35 trillions cells, yet we are one. Trillions of stars make one galaxy! :D

Proverbs says that the Spirit of Wisdom is a she and she has maidens, Pro 9:3. She's the builder of the seven churches, Pro 9:1, and she sends her maidens out, the Church (the Bride!), to call throughout the cities the calling of the Lord! We may be the lampstand, but it's the Spirit that's the fire - the Anointing Oil! ;) :ROFLMAO:  (y)

  14. "But the truth and sell it not" is one thing.
But you cannot 'buy' the Holy Spirit or the anointing.
In truth when a man in the book of Acts offered Peter(?) money to buy the anointing he received a serious rebuke and was struck down by leprosy or blindness.
On the other hand Jesus taught that if "ye being evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much the more shall good give the Holy Spirit to them that ASK Him"
The eternal resting place of the Holy Spirit is the Word of God .
For did not John the Baptist see the Holy Spirit descend on Jesus "in the form of a dove"?
When Noah sent out the Dove the first time it found no place of rest and returned.
The second time it went forth it came back with an olive branch .It had found a place of rest and left and never returned .
in the Old testament the Holy Spirit came UPON people but found no permanent resting place.
In the New testament it came and rested upon and filled Jesus the Word of God .
It came UPON people because the blood had not been shed for sin and so were old bottles .
After the death and resurrection of Christ the blood had been shed and all who believe applied to the heart of men .
The promise was that not only would it be UPON them but IN them. and in another replace would ABIDE for ever .
In as much then as we HONOUR the Word of God in as much and by the same measure then does that anointing manifest itself .
One has said our salvation cost God everything to give us something for nothing .It will cost us everything to keep it.
You cannot buy the anointing .Nor said Jesus are you to go here or go there for it .Either to the city or the wilderness .
For the anointing you already have if you are Christs.
For many said Jesus will say Lo here is Christ and there is Christ.
He did not mean lo here is jesus or there is Jesus .
But Christ means anointed one .
Thus many say lo here is the anointing or there is the anointing .
When in truth the anointing is IN you and abides and by Him "we know the spirit of error."
he has not come to abide for a moment or for time .But for ever .

    in Christ
