Alive in Christ.

  1. Alive in Christ.

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God
    in Christ Jesus.
    -- Romans 6:11

In baptism, we are united with Christ in his death. Our old
sinful selves are crucified with Christ. We are no longer slaves to
sin. We are alive in Christ -- the one whom sin could not master
and death could not conquer. His life is now our life. His victory
is our victory. His future is our future. Let's set our hearts to
    live based upon this certainty!

Praise God for victory over death. :israel::israel::israel:He set me free. Glory to His name.
  2. Nice Dusty thanks :D
Rom 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Rom 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
  3. Just thought I would put this old song here as it has so much meaning.

    Alive, alive, alive forevermore
    My Jesus is alive
    Alive forever more
    Alive , alive, alive, Forevermore
    My Jesus is alive
    Sing Hallelujah
    Sing Hallelujah
    My Jesus is alive
    Sing Hallelujah
    Sing Hallelujah
    My Jesus is alive.
  4. To find the fullness of this new life you must first experience death to self.
  5. :read: It just so happens I read this last night when I was going through Romans 5-8. Amen!
  6. AMEN! this is why so many do not experience what it's like to know you are saved. They keep 1 foot in the Kingdom and the other in the world.

They eat the "Word" buffet style...
  7. Revelation 3:16
So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Good analysis Sister Beloved. I like that definition .So we cannot have on foot on a banana peel and one on solid ground.:amen::amen:
