A spiritual warfare "secret"...

    There's a lot of talk about spiritual warfare these days (ie – warfare against demons and the kingdom of darkness). And a lot of suggestions about how to wage spiritual war and what weapons to use. I had a dream awhile back in which I am given a rifle that had two bullets in it — and in the dream, I am told that with these two bullets I can hold off a lot of enemies. The two bullets were humility and obedience.

    Yes, things like targeted intercession and fasting can be very helpful in fighting against forces of darkness and extending the Kingdom of God — but we must never lose sight of how important and effective such “simple” (and profound) things as Godly character and obedience are.

    Jesus, when He was referring to the devil, said “the ruler of the world is coming, and He has nothing in Me.” (John 14:30) What He was saying is that there was no area of compromise in His heart or life that the enemy could use against Him. And when we walk in humility and obedience to the Holy Spirit, our hearts are like strong towers that the enemy cannot penetrate.

    “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:6-9)

  2. Just to add to what you said....Paul gives us the keys to true Biblical Spiritual Warfare...obedience to these Scriptures and humbly submitting to these Scriptures (God's Word and ways of doing things)

    God bless

    For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),
    2 Corinthians 10:4‭-‬5 AMPC

    because the weapons we use to wage war are not worldly. On the contrary, they have God’s power for demolishing strongholds. We demolish arguments and every arrogance that raises itself up against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey the Messiah.
    2 Corinthians (2 Co) 10:4‭-‬5 CJB

    (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
    2 Corinthians 10:4‭-‬5 KJV

  3. Thankfully we've been given this:

    Ephesians 6:11-18
    King James Version (KJV)

    11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

    12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

    13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

    14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

    15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

    16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

    17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

    18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

  4. Greetings Brother Loon Watchman
    Most Believers only think they know what spiritual warfare truly is. Most wouldn't recognize a direct attack against them if you showed them.

    They have been hollywoodised to what or who they perceive the devil and his cohorts to be.

    They don't even know who or what they are fighting and most are doing nothing more then shadow boxing hitting nothing but air.

    Oh but if you learn who you are in Christ And actually learn of or know your enemy and his ways then you can fight the good fight of faith and Purposely Hit Something.

    Believers can walk and strive towards obedience and be thee most humble of people and pull a yoke of strongholds bigger then life. All the while allowing the enemy to steal, kill and destroy all through strong holds of the mind.

    The true War we fight is the battle of the mind. The mind is where the battle is won or defeated not out in the spiritual realm as some think. That's why we get hit with so many after so many fiery darts. (Thoughts)
