A God Thought

process defined

Paul uses the word you "yield," Romans six, which is foundational process that occurs when the mind willingly yields or relinquishs it's control and allows the Spirit to gain availability to the believers mind. The believers mind willingly allows itself to be placed under the ministry of the Holy spirit. This is the same point as the "time appointed of the father" in Galatians 4:2. "But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father," Galatians 4:2.
The Holy Spirit is not a controller of the believers mind but He is a teacher and a comforter of the mind.
The Holy Spirit brings freedom to the believer when He takes the things of Christ and reveals them to him/her.
When the believers mind becomes compatible with the things of Christ then there is pure freedom for the believer.
