31 For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

32 And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

31 Solomon’s wisdom was from the Lord and was meant to be more than the others and so it was. Ethan the Ezrahite was used by God to write Psalms 89, he was a Levite musician for the Lord. Heman wrote Psalms 88 and was also a minister of music for the Lord. The lasts one are not mentioned else where in scripture so they may very well have been wise men of the world at that time but Solomon was a wise of the Lord.


32 Some of these are found in scripture but many are not Solomon would write the books of Pro, Ecc, Song as well as a few Psalms and had a book of his own psalms which is apart of the Greek old testament.
