1 Kings 4:20

  1. 1 Kings 4:20 King James Version (KJV)

    20 Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.


    An American English Bible
    With Old Testament based on the Greek Septuagint

    20 Now, Judah and IsraEl had grown so large that [their people] were as the sands of the seas in number, and they all ate, drank, and rejoiced;

    These are my thoughts, please share yours.


    This fulfills God’s promise to Abraham. The people are content because God’s promise being fulfilled and we should be when this happens to us, we should celebrate His promise when He gives it though because it then is just a matter of time before it happens. God’s promises should bring us joy.
