17 ...... E very good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 5:7 Patience in Suffering 7.........Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. We do not know when the Lord will return to reward His faithful people and to set right the world , but we know that He will. His promise gives us hope----- but we must remain patient until He fulfills it.

I am patient, but I can tell you, I'm rockin' in a hard place. My feet are firmly planted on the rock and he gives me peace in every storm and a rainbow afterwards, a sign of his eternal promise.

I know what you mean. my son As we are studying James .... I am learning that I am a very impatient person and want everything in my life to be solved now.
James 1 : 3-4 3....because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4......Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. To me perseverence and patience are one in the same as different translations say patience.
