Mar 15:38 And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.
This veil that separated man from God's holiness was 4 inches thick. It was torn from top to bottom as the way into God's presence was opened by the sacrifice our Lord made on that cross. Religion may be man reaching towards God but Christianity is God reaching towards man.
