We used to have a separate area for non-Christians. I was constantly trying to get people to go there and participate, but it was mostly just a battleground.

Yes, we did.

It is difficult I think to reach ppl through the medium of a forum format, because the result of it is based on the mind.

What I mean is, in a forum ppl like to debate, and 99.99% of the time, there is no real conversation, because the heart is not involved, and it is so easy to go down to details and the regular rifraf of the argument heard a thousand and ten times that the fruit of it is more argument about the infinite intelectualisation of the various approach to the same heartless argument.

To reach ppl on the internet, one much approach the genuinely inquiring person on a one to one basis. This will open the way for a real heart to heart personal exchange, where the Spirit can freely flow, in full confidentiality.

How can you say 'Repent' when you do not know the sin?

I am thinking on a line of a ministry based on a similar format to PMs, where a assigned person, and only one, could personally minister to the person in need. The forum could easily be customised to cater to this need. I would be happy to assist.

This is possible. I could create a forum where members can interact with the team or someone assigned from the team. If the member posts there, it won't be viewable by one else other than the poster and the whole team.

Is that what you meant?

Neaaaaaaaaaaaarly

I meant in complete privacy:

where a assigned person, and only one, could personally minister to the person in need
This would only be a one-to-one interaction, between the person, and the one ministering, whoever would be assigned to that person.

To minister thoroughly to someone, there is to be some level of personal relationship that involves confidenciality, and that would be hard to achieve if all things are shared with the whole team.

The ministers could have a private forum on their own, to ask each other advise, while keeping the confidenciality of the exchange, but the main ministry would only be done between only 2 persons.

Does that make sense Jeff?

I like that idea.

I just hope some actual non-Christians who are looking for answers come.

Many atheists say "I would love to believe in a God", but the thing is, they are lying. Atheists don't go looking for God, the same reason a thief doesn't go looking for a Police Officer.

If they humbly, and sincerely looked for God, then they will find Him. I imagine that there are some unbelievers who are truly looking for answers, and are willing to sit down and talk. But usually it's the same people that just cause hate, and fruitless arguments. Many of them don't even debate, they just say "lol, Jesus never existed, There's no evidence, no, none." And "God is a tyrant, and the Bible is full of myths, and you are stupid people following fairy tales". And here's the best part, they represent the theory of atheistic evolution (I'm not saying and Evolutionist can't be a Christian) as complete, and utter scientific fact that is absolutely true (even though many of them say that there are no Absolute Truths [which I'm sure they're "absolutely" sure of]), anyone who does not follow is "stupid, insane, or wicked".

And they call Christians "close-minded", but aren't you being close-minded in the fact that you only follow Atheism? And that you follow every word that is spewed out of Richard Dawkins' mouth like it was Divinely Inspired?

I know not all atheists are like this, and I sincerely hope there are many that are willing to comply with Christians. I want to see them get saved, and we're not going to make any progress if they just sit there flinging Strawmen at us.

I pray that we will be able to reach out to them.

EDIT: Woah, I didn't see how long this topic has gone unanswered. Sorry!
