Well..... brownies have ALWAYS been my Achilles heel.

Just last Sunday someone put a plate of brownies on the table at the after church fellowship dinner and suddenly I began to crave them. I eyed those brownies up, trying my best to keep the drool in my mouth. They were perfect brownies..... cooked just right (not overdone or underdone), cut up in little squares... Mmmmmmmm they looked so yummy. So, when I went through the line to get my plate and a plate for my little one I got one brownie square, placed it on my sons plate, and then tried to entice him into eating it all through the lunch. You see, I have a dairy allergy so brownies are now off limits for me! In fact, everything on that list above is off limits for me. If I had to choose a dessert these days it would have to be one that I was positive is dairy free (which usually means nothing unless I make it myself). I can not have any soy products either.

There is one brand..... Namaste....that carries a dairy and soy free brownie. They are good, but not as good as the real thing. Unfortunately, I cannot buy these anywhere around where I live. I first bought a package of them in another state.

I LOVE Lemon Meringue Pie! However, the description does not fit me one bit. Of course, I love all of those, but the pie is my all-time favorite. Unfortunately, I can't have anything with sugar in it. The description on the Vanilla Cale with Chocolate Icing fits me very well, but that would be my last choice of a dessert.
