-Talking with your mouth full. Please...umm, I don't want to see what's inside or what it has become.

-People staring at me in the restaurant...go ahead, do it. I'll open my mouth wide and show you what's inside...or what it has become.

-Coupons in the newspapers for brake jobs (only 99.95!); then when you get there you find out that your car takes a "special kind of brake" and your job will actually cost you more around 259.95.

-People who have borrowed money repeatedly and never paid it back calling me up to ask me if I could do a favor for them.

-People cutting in line at the movies. When Passion of the Christ came out, I was like 11th or so in line. People would pull up in their cars, let off 10 people, and then all walk to the front and greet someone they knew. "Oh, hi!" And then stand there and talk, talk, talk, until the line started moving, and then act like they were standing there all the while. By the time I got my ticket, I was like 500th in line. Come on. It's a movie about Christ and they're cheating other people? Whoo-boy!

This thread was a good idea! Gives us an area to vent calmly.

Having someone do something totally stupid and not owning up to it. I mean, it's obvious! Guy at work did that today. Did the dumb deed. Was called out on it. But side-stepped and blame-shifted his way out of it.

Rude people. That's another one of mine.

I was standing in line at the checkout at Shopko one time and the cashier in the next lane had to take her break. Her supervisor came to shut the line down, and the next customer in line, a lady, was angry.

I have to go on break, the cashier said, I was supposed to go two hours ago.

Oh, no! The lady screamed at her. You ring up my stuff and then you go on break!

Her supervisor apologized to the lady and said the cashier really had to take her break. She closed the line down.

The lady just stood there and said: You can go on break if that guy [points right at me] lets me go ahead of him!

I would have let her go ahead of me, I told my own cashier, if she would have asked me NICELY!!!

That look on her face was classic. It's like being nice just hadn't occured to her.

LOL - pattycake! I love it!!!

I have a calculator watch that I can't live without (I'm dumb at math). One time, it just vanished! Gone! No trace of it whatsoever.

I was so lost. I even went to the dollar store and bought a calculator to carry with me everywhere...but I had to get another watch because calculators don't tell time.

Finally...I broke. I went out and bought the exact-same kind of watch all over again.

The next day...after spending the money? I found my watch.

It was in the washing machine, and yes - the watch is waterproof.

Now I have two of them.

That just BUGS me!

On TV...I'm watching the news and the reporters are mumbling out what's going on. I have to turn up the volume.

Then the commercial comes on, and the actor is screaming! I mean, screaming at how good his rag is that soaks up all the water, even through carpet! I have to turn the volume down.

Then the reporters come back on...mumbling again.

Lately I have had to spend a lot of time in meetings. I hate that people have to try and make up stuff to make a meeting last the alotted time. I must just be griping cause I recently got out of a meeting that should have taken 10 minutes. But it was alotted for 1 hour.GGGRRR
