Laundromat washing machines that cost a lot, but don't get the laundry clean.

Smokers who will not use the ashtrays placed for their convenience (or in their cars, if driving) and toss their butts on the ground. I am convinced it is not merely laziness or thoughtlessness, but simple defiance.

When the farmers pull off of the field with the manure spreader and leave remnants of the fertilizer on the road just before I ride down that road with my bike.

Maybe it’s not a pet peeve.
I know it’s necessary for the farmers.
But I really hate it when that happens.

Pet Peeve --when you are talking to someone and they rub their nose or rub their eye brows or soemthing on their face period... it bugs me and makes me think they are hinting that i have something on my nose or on my face...

i know, it's weird ...

Lying. I know it's obvious. But in my line of work, it seems to happen way too often. I personally find that it's easier to come out and tell the truth and not have to hassle with the emotional baggage that is left behind. So it irritates me when people lie.

I thought of another one.
When people think that a disagreement needs to be an argument.

My personal pet peeve?

People who talk loud in restaurants, especially in Japanese restaurants (if you haven't noticed, most of them are REEEEEAAAALLLLL quiet) . Since I'm not rowdy and howdy, if it's not happy hour there's no need to be rude and interupt other people's conversations with your blasts of laughter. And if we or someone else does it they roll their eyes 360 degrees.

Ohhh...You'd hate talkin to me then. ;;

Finally Remembered one of mine. (Been tryin to think of one since this thread started.)

Tv episodes in searies where the characters (or a large majority of them) don't remember what happened during the episode, and ALLLLlll that development was for naught.
(Ex: Star Trek: Voyager, The Year of Hell)

My 2nd pet peeve:

When people make a BIIIIGGG deal over a television show, movie, or book, and you go and read it and you're like - "This is a load of cow poop!"
